Mark, thank you! I have been thinking about weather I should do a little bit of lots of things or line up task and focus on them one by one. I think the second one is much much better for one's head at the least. Talking about things in general, not specifically music ... Thank you

Yes. It's challenging at first to focus on just a few things and drop or postpone the rest. But I find it's very satisfying once you get into it. I make faster progress and feel like I can enjoy the few things I'm focusing on more than if I'm constantly switching to the next new thing...

This idea meshes so nicely with Oliver Burkman's book 4000 weeks including the finitude of our lives and not being able to do it all. Thanks today for your great message.

You're welcome, Scott. And 4000 weeks is a great book. I'm planning to read it again very soon - far too much important insight for me to process in a single reading...

@@PlayInTheZone Well today because of your post I decided to quit fooling around with a bass guitar and amp I bought ages ago and never play or when I do I really don't like it. I like the idea of it. So as Steve Jobs would say: "Just say no". So I am selling the bass and amp tomorrow to concentrate on my jazz guitar playing. You just changed a little bit of my life!! Thanks for that.

Sorry but I am put off by the mention of the vile corporate gangster STeve Jobs in this video.
