So sorry to hear that! Must be so tough. If you can afford it or if it’s covered by benefits you should consider hiring an Occupational Therapist. They are trained experts specifically to help people like you get out and about. I know how inaccessible Scotland is.

"Looking back at Dundee in the sun, it's beautiful..." are words I can't imagine being said. I might go with: "Dundee is the Stockton on Tees (or Hartlepool) of Scotland". Now for the rest of the video and memories of St Andrews where father-in-law studied and played a LOT of golf, and Arbroath where my wife spent her summer holidays with Grannie + Grandpa...

Great to see thanks. I’ve visited several spots along it many times but never taken the whole path. Some of the stretches of path further north, in Aberdeenshire/Kincardine are favourite stretches of ours. Notably Dunnotar/Foulsheugh, around Inverbervie and particularly around Johnshaven. Usually followed by dinner at either the Anchor in Johnshaven or the Marine in Stonehaven to round off a lovely walk.

New Patreons/subs here, Steve- hubby found you. We're in Minnesota (US) and adore your channel. You have an excellent way of informing with humor, and giving us glimpses to cities, countries and continents that we won't get to in our lifetime! We had an enormous day of yardwork that left us spent, and as we watched last night, I felt myself having tired legs just from WATCHING you and Alicja walking 51.5 miles!!!!😂😂😂 We got a wee tear when you walked past Carnoustie- our eldest daughter is a collegiate golf coach, and in 2013 she was handpicked to play a Collegiate style Ryder Cup in Scotland representing 12 female college golfers from the US. She played Carnoustie, AND St. Andrews, and at SA, she shot an 82! (Collegiate players play from the men's tees, so this girl got game:-)) Thank you so much for your quality videos, your guided tours and commentary- we hope every episode that you find the best chippy in town!! God bless you both- Jack and Kitty (Catherine) Gray

Hi Steve, just enjoyed this video for the second time. My wife and I were at East Haven last Friday where we had our picnic. Lovely wee place and great toilets all looked after by the local people. If you like ice cream I can recommend East Scryne Fruit farm on the wee road down to East Haven from the main road. Just follow the big strawberry signs. The large strawberry cones are to die for. The ice-cream is mixed and churned when you order it and contains a scoop of fresh strawberries mixed in, the real mc coy not whippy rubbish. It's gid. 😋. Only thing is car park is small. Thanks again guys. Take care.

When the white eagle 🦅 of the north, Is flying overhead, and the greens browns and golds of autumn lay in the gutter, dead. Remember then the summer birds on wings of fire, come to witness springs new hope, born of leaves decaying. As new life will come from death, love will come at leisure, love of love, love of life and giving without measure, gives in return the wondrous yearn of a promise almost seen. Live hand in hand and we'll stay, on the threshold of a dream 🌊💭 It may not be exactly appropriate, but the sentiments seem to fit !! Cracking walk guys.... another belter from S&A !!👍

Steve, I just watched the Angus Coastal Trail vid. In 1998 I signed up for AOL and did a search on my surname. The Chapel of St Skae was a resulting hit. i learned it was in Angus which is why i watched the vid. I was so surprised to see it on your hike by Elephant Rock. You hiked right past the chapel bearing my surname! Heading to Scotland for my first visit in 4/24. Family roots traced to Tullibody. Was on the fence about heading to Angus but after seeing my pile of rocks I’m sure to stop there! Remarkable!
