No band is more active than journey. Their songs are hard to sing. Imagine doing that for 15 years. Sadly, they found Arnel too late. He's already in his 40's when they found him. It's a miracle that he can still sing and perform at the original key.

He's not lying about Arnel, me and my girlfriend seen them with toto in Lexington kentucky on valentines day and he was losing his voice. Still he went on and started singing harder than normal. I think we would all rather have Steve Perry back, but if we had to have anyone other than Steve, I don't think anyone in the world could have chosen a better singer than Arnel Pineda

Arnel Pineda is a GREAT vocalist and Steve Perry is not only a true gentleman but he knows greatness in a vocalist when he hears it and is honestly willing to give credit where credit is due. My hat’s off to the both of them. By the way, just to be clear, as great as Pineda is with his vocals, Perry is better. Steve Perry is the Grandmaster of vocalists to whom all others aspire. I can only imagine the honor and feeling of having one’s singing talent complimented by the likes of Steve Perry!

You know Steve Perry is one of the most humble vocalist and musician that I've ever seen what is 100% true and a class act when it comes to being generous with his appreciation. Arnel was at the Rock and roll Hall of Fame induction but he wasn't on stage with journey Steve Perry even though he was no longer with journey and had not been for a long time was the only one that was like sending out congratulations to Arnel and to his performances.
