Guys, Young has to be a regular on your show. He was insightful, honest, hilarious, and down to earth. I'm a Jet fan hoping that the Jets don't screw this one up and absolutely take Wilson at #2. Might even become a BYU fan.

I don't buy one thing Steve said, but other than that one thing, he was spot on. That thing? How many of you remember 2 or 3 years ago, Kalani saying that they wanted to win regularly, scoring 45 to 55 points a game? That WAS Kalani who said that, wasn't it? And this year, they had the tools to do that. So I don't buy him saying Kalani just wanted to grind out games. Nope. Nope. ;)

He said zach wasn't the captain when he was a junior. I'm pretty sure he meant to say sophomore. The 2020 season he was a junior and the captain. Right?

The later zach goes in the draft, the better. The better the team that gets him. That's what I want. I want niners to get him, but I don't think he'll slip to twelve.

SF could trade up.. Definitely not out of the question, especially with Robert Saleh likely going to the Jets at #2

I don't think he will go #1 or #2, I think the SF 40 Whiners will have a shot at getting him. But then, IF you ask me, I think Trevor Lawrence should go as the #3 quarterback. The one team that really pressured Trevor changed his game too much, and the NFL ought to see that if they think about that film. Some quarterbacks adjust to that, others don't. I saw the other 3 pressured, and pick up the slack.We'll see. I have Zack solidly as the #3 or #4 QB possibly behind Jones, Fields, and Trevor. If it goes down that way (which I doubt) I would not be greatly surprised. Zack will be a boon to whoever gets him. He studies and makes decisions like Peyton Manning or Montana, with the tools of Patrick Mahomes. Can he do THAT in the NFL? We'll also get to see that.

@@keenthnewman532 Other than the diss to my 49ERS, I really appreciate your honest and unique take on the quarterbacks in this draft. As a big Zach Wilson fan from well before the bowl game, and even Coastal Carolina, I agree that he has great tools, and an even better mind. He's the most Shanahan-like quarterback on the board, and soon Kyle will see that, and hopefully go all in to get him. If Saleh gets the Jets HC job, don't be shocked if he does his old team a solid, and trades out of the #2 spot with them.
