Congratulations on reaching 10K subs! I love the content on your channel and look forward to much more. How about a shoutout to Vehicle Visionary? Kidding! Just kidding! But what I would really like to see is a video of setting up at the track and what all goes into that.

What's your top 5 sensors/data points that you think every car should have/add to their program no matter the power level. Say anything from a 12second street car to the top level RVW car what's your must have data points. Best of luck to you sir and drag some a** this season!

Very good content and you have an awesome racing setup. That rpm is way higher than I thought it would be. Do you shift in the 1/8th or use lockup as your final drive?

1/8 racing do you have time to see win light as you go through speed traps
@kevintucker33545 жыл бұрын
Not at 200 miles per hour!!
@christophercrafts82835 жыл бұрын
Yes if it's a 1/4 mile track, not on an 1/8th mile track though. Most guys look for the win light, but some do catch et or mph if run is smooth.
@jayer-su3hu4 жыл бұрын
Why would you wash the spark plugs? Why not just run them once and toss? To me that's a perishable item. I'd always run a set once and toss. Cost might add up but it's cheap insurance knowing I'm not gonna have a bad plug. And yes I'm well aware new plugs can be defective too. At least if they're new it's consistent.

So I have a good question. The turbo queers have a bumpbox when they are getting gapped. Does a blower have that option/allowed to pet rules? Or how does that work if you need a little bit more boost.
@christophercrafts82835 жыл бұрын
A bumpbox is an interupter on a switch that momentarily interrupts the signal to the trans brake to creep into the staging beams. You are talking about a scramble button for mid pass to "up" the boost. I have never heard or seen 1 for the blowers that they use. Not sure on a procharger though...
@PhoenixFlatline5 жыл бұрын
Christopher Crafts I got them mixed up my fault. And I was always curious. I feel like a lot of people would cry if Stevie or any other blower cars had one.
@Thesongstaysthesame5 жыл бұрын
Is there a purpose behind the tarp covers over the back wheels? Are they just cosmetic?
@christophercrafts82835 жыл бұрын
If your talking about on the trailer they are to keep all the greasy hand prints and oily clothes off to keep the rig shiny! Hard to keep them things white with all them guys turning cars around.
@Thesongstaysthesame5 жыл бұрын
Christopher Crafts thanks much for the reply. Figured there was a purpose! Cheers!
@christophercrafts82835 жыл бұрын
@@Thesongstaysthesame yuppers. Also have on rear of the race car in staging to keep the sun from beating on tires jacking up tire PSI
@matthewvarnam43025 жыл бұрын
All of that work for consistent pass wow
@beatems5 жыл бұрын
Fuck that is a lot of work
@ljkking6225 жыл бұрын
What’s the EAD on the blower hat? It would be funny if it was Eat A Dick but I doubt NHRA would allow it. The NHRA does nothing to promote these guys in pro mod. To me it’s the most interesting because you have nitrous, blowers and turbos all going head to head. Might be able to do a N/A if they can keep the weight low enough.

@WilliamsMotorsports1x805 жыл бұрын
Why do you have a tire cover over the tires in the staging lanes
@ricktaylor37485 жыл бұрын
Dustin Williams It keeps tire pressure stabilized from the heat of the $un.☀️ Most NASCAR / drag racers use nitrogen to inflate their tires
@nathanwire96865 жыл бұрын
What’s up with the EAD on the blower?
