YESSSSSS. I'm so glad you reacted to Adam with Queen. I don't think any other singer could sing the material and do it justice the way Adam has tbh. Also, at the risk of unpopular opinion, I think Freddie Mercury would be shocked at what Adam Lambert can do, vocally. Anyone saying he's not Freddy needs to get over their nostalgia. Of course the songs won't sound identical to what they're used to, but Adam is every bit Freddy's equal, and I think moreso, in terms of vocal talent.

Someone probably mentioned it, but it started with him singing Queen on American Idol and they contacted Brian May about it. The band then agreed to perform with Adam on the show (the finale, I think it was). They had no plans at that point of touring again, but there was a clear spark when Adam sang with them and fast forward a bit and Adam now tours with them and does still record his own music. He’s definitely one of the best vocalists around.

I'm pretty impressed when someone with hand tattoos, which are pretty painful to get, can be emotional and fighting back tears when awestruck by Adam Lambert. I myself am a late arrival on the Adam platform (thank you Netflix,) and I must say that I had a similar reaction to that of Steven when hearing him sing Who Wants to Be Forever. With this song as well as with Cher's Believe, The Show Must Go On at the Belfast EMAs in 2011 and others both by Queen and Lambert, I had to stop listening mid-sentence because I thought I would break into a million pieces. In Queen's own words: there is just nobody out there that can interpret their catalogue and the last thing they need is an impersonator who sounds like Freddie. AL put fun back into gigs that have well, pretty funny lyrics like Bicycle Race and Killer Queen where extravagant, OTT performances allow Adam to be just that, as according to Brian May and Roger Taylor, they were taking themselves too seriously back in the day. On the other hand, Adam has added an equal amount of majestic talent to the high notes that even Freddie couldn't sing. Looking forward to more AL on this channel, so.

I remember watching this live in concert, Atlanta 2019, and absolutely sobbing. This has always been my favourite Queen anthem and hearing Adam’s distinctive voice being so delicate yet powerful… it’s overwhelming. Incredible showman, perfect one to choose to sing these iconic songs. RIP Freddie, I know you’re up there smiling down on those who honour your life’s works.

Beyond the beyond...I've been to a number of Queen and Adam Lambert concerts and a number of solo Adam Lambert concerts...there's nothing like it. As QAL, they are incredible, he is in his element with Brian and Roger, Spike, Neil and Tyler!

Queen and Adam Lambert just released Oct 2,2020 a live album, CD and Blu-ray of 20 songs from their live concerts around the world. It’s not quite the same as live but it’s enough to get us through the pandemic. And I recommend Adam at Kennedy Center Honors singing Believe for Cher. He made her cry with his rendition.

Adam is an exceptional vocalist - he has never and will never try to imitate Freddie. Brian and Roger have done many many videos/interviews where they have thanked Adam for allowing them to continue to perform their catalogue. They didn't think they would find anyone who a) wasn't a Freddie mimic and b) could sustain the vocal stamina that their tracks demand because Fred was a vocal beast ! Adam is the first one to pay homage to Freddie and often says that he is honoured to have been given the opportunity. I'm glad there is talk that they are actually going to release a new album soon - it will be very interesting.

Saw Queen in 1982 in Frankfort had my head blown off by Freddie, now living in lreland and Queen and Adam rolled into town. I was undecided about going to see them as my memory of Queen was one of the best concerts l ever went to. Adam was simply amazing he did justice to everything Freddie ever did and matched the memory l had. If you get the chance to see them go you wont be disappointed

That's the reaction of someone who is falling in love with Adam... and I'm so here for it! He is so talented and I admire him a lot! Been a fan since American Idol and I'm so proud of how war he has come. I always get goosebumps when listening to his voice, especially when he sings Queen songs (especially since Queen is my favorite band!) He is just able to bring so much... emotions... into the songs... I absolutely adore what he is doing! His voice control, his range! Just HOW?! Pure talent! Been to 3 shows so far and just hearing it live is a completely different experience. I really think Freddie is up there, smiling since his legacy is still present until this day and people still sell out all the shows and are in love with the music he and his bandmates created. And I really think Freddie is proud of how Adam is doing everything! You should really listen to him performing Believe by Cher... amazing performance and even Cher tears up! And of course all the other videos! He's AMAZING! Please react to more of those performances! I would love to see all of them! There are so many videos available on here!! And all of them are amazing! Much love from Germany :)

This is one of the best Adam reactions ice seen. The look on you face is the same look I had when I saw them live, only the hairs on my arm were standing up. I've been a fan of Adams since he was on American idol and he never fails to deliver. Check out the live sessions from his new CD "Velvet". As far as I'm concerned he's the greatest vocalist of the 21st century. I do hope you do more songs by him because you will never be disappointed.

It is VERY MUCH still Queen - Adam neither is, nor tries to be Freddie, but he is the same kind of person and performer naturally. He has the same kind of energy and vibe, but in a different way. It absolutely still feels like Queen, and it wouldn't do that if it wasn't for Adam. He is the perfect "Heir" to Freddie's crown and legacy
