Proud of you Steve O, I can totally relate to the addiction and it is a horrible illness. When lock down was going on I'd watch your videos and watch skating videos and it saved my life. I started getting help and I've got my family back. Love you to bits and I was the same with being angry.. I'd go insane at times and I was blaring music. So proud of you and looking forward to the sober days again and getting better. Love you all I remember wearing a Slipknot costume and I had this replica of Corey Taylor's original mask and I was getting high on whippets and I am so glad I stopped after doing meth etc. I used to try coccaine and it's horrible. I was thinking jesus.. what have I done. I hope they bring more video games out soon and they definitely have to remaster Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 with everyone there. I always loved Elissa Steamer and I kid you not I had a picture of her in my primary school days sellotaped to my lunch box.. damn those were good times. Addiction definitely steams from trauma and it's horrible.. I am an alcoholic and it's a horrible drug when abused because it is poison at the end of the day. I lost my Uncle to it and you'd have loved him to bits. He was a big fan of AC/DC etc and was a very talented musician and painter. He was also a great cook and had everything. Unfortunately the alcohol took over and it was a sad loss. His send off song was Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd and I just cried and made an oath to make him proud some day because I've got a lot of autistic talented traits. I'm a musician, voice actor and love making people smile. In my recovery I always hear that Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 goal sound ( digadoo dooow!!) and that's me going.. I'm on my way back baby. I hope some day I can meet you all and hug you all, you're all legends. Keep shining on SteveO and never let those bams get you down hehe

The duality of tragedy and comedy, as staples of the human condition, goes back tens of thousands of years. Steve-O has made a career of walking the finest line possible between the two, to the point of blurring it in a way that upon a surface glance, we don't even see the tragedy. Many of his stunts over the years could have resulted in the loss of his life, which would have shined a huge spotlight on the tragedy aspect of his life (e.g., physical and emotional pain he's endured). We are all fortunate that Steve-O managed to gain better control of this narrow-tight rope routine of decision making, and that we get to witness more of his comedy without the tragic loss.
