The only channel reacting to Cane Hill and it brings me joy because they have such a unique style and one of my favorite vocalists.

Spotify lied to me and said my nearest gig was Brighton! So I saw them in Dust, a tiny nightclub in a basement which was close and personal. Almost bought a ticket for the Underworld gig the next day which would be on my journey back to Herts, regret not doing it. This new album played really well live, especially I Always Knew We Were Doomed, that had me flying. I found something similar with Northlane; the new releases are great, it's different, it's an evolution of their sound, but they are really solid records and there's lots to love. When you hear it live? It just makes so much more sense, the way it makes you move, soar with the choruses or synth lines, the energy etc. Some bands are in a phase where they are really honing the craft of how to make music that flows together live, and some bands want to hit the next big breakdown, rift, call-out etc.

Never heard of them before Underworld I'm here in England visiting and my partner and I were looking for a gig to take in as we were in much need of some live music. I found the tickets on Dice and checked them out on Spotify. The first track I listened to was Midnight Sun fell in love with the sound immediately. So glad I went to check them out absolutely an amazing band.

Also, would 100% love to line up a Cane Hill interview for the channel’s podcast. Ping me a DM on Instagram if interested and we can arrange from there 🚀

It’s been pointed out to me that the guest vocalist during InDevth was in fact from The Gloom In The Corner, not Cane Hill. Both singers being moustached with glasses and I swear identical baseball caps made that confusing for me 😅

I feel like Cane Hill has gottem criminally overshadowed by Allt in the scene this year. Not that I have anything against Allt, but man, Piece of Me is a ridiculous album, and it deserves to be up there in the buzz.

It’s a good album but there’s so many I great albums that released this year, it’s understandable
