Abandoned loader start up! Mack Truck cab ride

In this episode we go for a drive to some scenic farms in the R600 Mack to move a Fiat tractor and start up and pick up an abandoned Massey Fergusen front end loader. We fit batteries and bleed the diesel and attempt to start it up and load it on the truck #diesel #tractor #willitstart #semitruck #oldtruck #mackr600 #mack

Hi Norm. It is a nice area mate. Truck goes really well. He’s had the fiat tractor for man years , in fact that one I’ve rebuilt the engine in for him and had the transmission in a million bits to replace the synchros, but yes the loader was a good find mate

Hello mate. Yes it was more of a scenic tour with a cab ride and a start up thrown in. It’s a beautiful truck mate. I’ve done a bit of work to it in the last few years and my mate who owns it takes great care of it.

Those battery cables and the connections by the starter were not too good. Otherwise a good running engine.

Enjoyed your video, Steve. I did like the old yellow Leyland at the 2nd farm. Also, at the first farm, was it a Field Marshall crawler tractor sitting under the tree?

Hi Stuart. The Leyland was in really good condition for its age mate. I don’t remember a crawler tractor there mate but I could be wrong. I will have to go back and have another look. It was over Christmas I recorded it so I’ve probably forgotten if there was😅.
