No problem.. When Redd passed away his wife put his personal belongings in a storage unit in Las Vegas. She abandoned the unit and I've been buying a lot of items from the guy that bought them at auction. I have hand written notes and letters, pictures and scripts from Sanford and Son.

Sanford and Son was my number one most favorite TV show EVER. My favorite characters were Fred, Rollo, Bubba, Grady, and Esther (In that order). I have seen every episode numerous times, and still watch them to this day.

Hi! Redd Foxx's house is about half mile north from the cemetery on Eastern. It's owned by a business now and they've had a lot of unexplained occurrences happen. So, they painted a small " Red Fox " on the sign and the unexplainable activities in the house stopped. Keep up the good work!

Hey Steve, thank you for your classy, informative and respectful videos. When I was with my Ex I lived in Las Vegas. She was a School Teacher and very social conscience. She took me to an event and introduced me to Rosa Parks. I also met and shared many drinks with Evel Kenevil at a place called "The Slot Joint" that was on the strip back in the day. I met Redd Foxx at a Hearns-Hagler Championship fight at the MGM Grand. I was walking out of the Mensroom, saw Redd, said hi and stuck out my hand. Redd said "No,no,no,no,no... I ain't gonna shake the hand that just shook Peter" !. 😂😂😂

Fred G. Sanford...the "G" stood for whatever he wanted it to be, depending on the coversation😂. His birthday was 10 days before mine, (except I was born in '59). My family enjoyed this show. I met a man once, who helped repossess Redd Foxxes mansion in las Vegas. Redd had a water fountain out on the sidewalk for anyone to drink from, because he remembered as a child and young adult, the separate water fountain for whites and blacks. The man was saying how many necklaces Redd had. All like Mr T type gold chains

One of the highlights of my life was meeting Redd at Dangerfield's in NYC in 1983. My girlfriend and I struck up a conversation at the bar with a delightful lady while Redd was performing in the adjacent showroom. She asked us if we wanted to meet her dad. I said "Well why?" She said: " because he's performing on stage right now in the showroom". We were just floored finding out this was Redd's daughter! She took us to his dressing room after the show where we had a nice conversation with him complete with autographs, pictures and souvenirs. Rodney (Dangerfield) was even with us cracking jokes with Redd about us being from the "cold country" (Eau Claire, WI). What a nice gesture. Her last name was Sanford but I 'm embarrassed to say I can't remember her first name. Does anyone know if she's still alive?

It's one of my favorite shows from Norman Lear, a pioneer of TV comedies. It still as fresh and funny as when it debuted in 1972. I have the complete DVD set but admittedly I watch it more on tv than on my own DVDs. But I know I can watch any episode on dvd to see the scenes that are inevitably edited when they appear on tv to make room for the commercials. As someone else pointed out, Nathaniel Taylor did indeed pass on earlier this year, so I figure this was uploaded prior to his passing. Nickname Skillet comes from when momma got piss off and mad that's what they grab, that cast iron Skillet to knock hell out your ass with and a buddy or a friend saw this and would make fun of, would give the nickname Skillet!!! Concerning the quad memorial stone, i assumed it was a shared stone placed in the center of four graves, arranged two wide and two long. The quadrant on the stone corresponded to the position of each grave. In Las Vegas, I have visited the grave of boxer Charles "Sonny" Liston. Would like to visit the final resting place of bandleader/trumpet player Harry James.

It would be great if you could do the cast of the Amos n Andy Show from the early 1950s. The actors were so talented and portrayed the characters perfectly. Tim Moore, Spencer Williams, Ernestine Wade, Amanda & Lillian Randolph, Johnny Lee, Nick Stewart, Alvin Childress, Jester Hairston and all of the supporting actors were so good and professional. I grew up watching Amos n Andy, and in my 70s now, I still enjoy and laugh at the episodes. These were the cast of characters who I would have enjoyed meeting and knowing in real life. They were a part of the Golden Age of Television who deserve to be remembered in one of your episodes....

Amos and Andy isn't looked back on too fondly by A lot of people but it was in essence the first black sitcom ever and paved the way for every black sitcom after it so for that It deserves respect.
