Okay I realize now how valuable you are. I focus on card manipulation for some great reactions, but unless I do all my best stuff every time I’m stuck with one or two tricks then improvising some fluff tricks with forces etc. The self working tricks you teach and other zero-manipulation tricks look just as good to the audience, and if I pad manipulation tricks with them they assume there is a lot more going on. So now I can open with a manipulation, fill in with these great tricks, close with a manipulation and you sir just made my audience very happy. You are amazing, man!

You can also take the cards from The Spectator real quick and say something like, "I want you to place these face up while I turn around," then hand the pile back to them after glancing at that bottom card.

Seems like the one potential problem is if the spectator's last cut of the deck manages to cut between the key card and the chosen card. (Which would leave the key card very close to the bottom of the deck.) I guess this makes it important when re-assembling the 5 original piles to put the selected pile as the 2nd pile (with 3 on top of it). I guess if you see the key card right near the bottom, you need to drop just those last cards, then also drop the cards from the top of the deck on top of them.
@swyn8729 күн бұрын
There is also a second problem. When you make the last step and making the piles searching for the key card. It could be, that the „number is 8“ and you splitted accidentally at 5 before. So the key card and the unknown is in different piles.
@outriderV13 күн бұрын
What if they cut the cards in the middle of their original pile, including their card and the key card?

1:55 spread the cards on the table. That on it's own is a trick. I try and try and try and then i try again. But i can never get em spread like this for some reason. This spread is magic on its own.
@bertjesklotepinoАй бұрын
the first and last card are a bit out of place, but the rest is almost perfectly uniformly spread. (i am dutch btw, that is my excuse for when i make mistakes in the English language) Anyway, that spread..... i have been practicing it for a long time now, and it just never happens. Not as smoothly as you do it here. Any suggestions on how to pull this off as smoothly as you do it in this video? Is it the cards, the way you hold em, the table on which you lay them?

I know that I'm incredibly stupid with almost everything. But I've watched this video twice and cannot see how you can guarantee that their chosen card will always be the second card. If their card isn't in the second position (like as seen in this video), what are you doing to make sure that it is? Especially with knowing only your key card. Even the explanation just isn't making sense to me without being able to see how their chosen card at (for instance) 6th position, gets moved to the second position. What am I missing?
@steventaputoroАй бұрын
It’s not always the de second position. Tutorial was just a coincidence.
@johnedgemon1184Ай бұрын
@@steventaputoro Ok, I think I realize where I was thinking wrong. It's always in the named position from the key card! So sorry I bothered you with a dumb response. lol. This is a great trick, I just had cloudy thinking for some reason! Thank you and I look forward to what is coming up!

I’m stupid. I still dont know how you know where their card is
@jones1618Ай бұрын
Love it, except... It seems like it is too easy/coincidental that the card is at the same position as their number. I think it would be much more fooling if you loaded 3 or 5 cards on _top_ of (under?) the key card before stacking the packets. Then say, "Before you tell me anything, I'm thinking of a number. What if we combined our numbers to find your card? (I know, it makes no sense). My number is 3 ... and (for the first time) your number is? Four. OK, 3+4 is seven. Even a minute ago, there was no way I could know our combined number & also no way I could have manipulated the cards to that unknown number." Then, count to reveal their card.
@steventaputoroАй бұрын
The card can be at any number. The tutorial was simply coincidental.
@jones1618Ай бұрын
@@steventaputoro Sure, the number they remember can be any number. I'm saying make the final offset seem "more random" by it not just being their number. (Otherwise, it looks like you just cut their card's packet to the top.)
