Just finished the biography Gold Dust Woman and they go into great detail on her visiting the troops. She bought ipods filled with all her favorite songs and gave them to the troops when she visited them. She gave them all away and then Steven Tyler and Joe Perry donated $10K to buy more when she ran out. That is just total class. I love her generosity and compassion for others.

Tim Forest I couldn’t imagine coming home from a war or being away or laying in a hospital bed then in walks Stevie Nicks. I couldn’t imagine the hope and joy that brings soldiers, knowing this world famous artist makes it point to take time out of her busy life to come see me and my buddies just to make sure they have some hope and joy. It’s just so sweet and magical of her.

Even in September 2024 Stevie looks very young and she goes full tilt, the only fault for Stevie is she supports democrats and abortion. I wish Stevie would have kept her 4 babies (& let her parents raises their own grandchildren) so more Stevie Nicks genetics would have been on this earth but alas the 'women's rights' give zero NO rights to any unborn/& /pre-born babies, plus no rights to the fathers, grandparents etc. siblings need legal rights as well, we still live in pre-historic times. Yes, also thought every thing you said. However I saw her on an interview and Her remarks after AMY WINEHOUSE lost her battle with booze. She Did get off drugs.It was the alcohol that killed her.. Miss Stevie still knocks one back before performing ,by her own admission. Usually Addicts/Alcoholics take a more compassionate view over the loss of a fellow Entertainer . Amy could sing miss nicks under the table on an off day.So after I heard her speak cold and cavalier about AMY my opinion of her is zero.

I appreciate her candidness and the details of her accounts of the events in her life. Other interviews reveal that that is her part of her personality - very straight forward. She obviously takes her job and herself very seriously and lives her life on purpose. I don't think that her assessment of herself is totally one of self absorption. She displays a higher degree of objectivity than what many artists of her stature do. But I do wonder how she treats 'the help'. That's often an indication of arrogance - of which there is a slight undertone of as she speaks. And that's entirely fitting and frankly, rather sexy.
@SheriJenningsYELLOWWALLPAPER7 жыл бұрын
she does not use the term "the help". You did not address even one small part of the content of the interview. Not since Ingmar Bergman and/or Milan Kundera have I read something showing this depth of understanding regarding the female psyche. That was a jk, They actually do understand women. :) Just focus on the interview and what she says. about "music" and the making thereof. She may never see these comments but I did and I find your insights rather creepy.
@SheriJenningsYELLOWWALLPAPER7 жыл бұрын
It's creepy because you seem to be profiling her. There is never anything funny or sexy about treating employees poorly.

Perhaps Hollywood has cast a spell on the masses and those that work in these Kingdoms of the earth are part of a death cult. So how is woodpeckers comment rude?? It isnt rude at all. He (or she) has only expressed their opinion in a polite way. You are offended because someone doesnt think the same as you? Grow up! I happened to agree .... i feel her voice has had it and its time to retire. She cant seem to hit the high notes anymore and singing live she sounds monotone. She is still an amazing entertainer, a beautiful woman, and will always be a unique talent. No one can take away from how amazing she has been, and still is. I also put Rod Stewart in the same boat too. His voice has cast its use-by date. Doesnt sound the same. But we all hear and see the world differently and we should all be allowed to express our opinions without being made to feel stink... by ppl like you.
