And I have watched this performance at the US Festival many many times(the WHOLE US Festival performance), and I think she sounds just as good here. I think her versions of this song and 'Gold Dust Woman' are better here than on White Winged Dove. That is my opinion, and I strongly hold to it. ❤ this is going to age me 🎉but I was there at the US Festival 1983 (and 1982) I don't remember U2, Motley Crue, beer/weed/mushrooms (I saw someone had them) * a bottle of H20 was more than $1 (😅) so we'd refill our bottles with water from the puddles 🤢 i remember singing the chorus for LOLA with the Kinks for 17 minutes. the only thing I can remember, from beginning to end, was Stevie...despite it being 110°...they used fire hoses on us all day, tons of mud...horrible water/portable loos. and Stevie... gracious. gorgeous. flawless. worth every second. I think I've seen her 17x (11 where Petty appeared) and there has never, ever, been a concert when I left thinking "meh. it was ok". with Stevie it is a perfect, delightful sing-a-long and she leads. amazing. hope to see her one last time in November. but this night (3 or 4?) was worth just hearing her sing. thanks Stevie ❤
