Belladonna was such a masterpiece in my opinion her solo version Rumors. Every song is a sing along and every song could have easily been a top ten hit and get massive radio play back in the day.. Just perfection and really highlighted her superior song writing ability.

When Showtime broadcast the US Festival back in 83, this was one of her performances they featured, along with the hits 'Stand Back and 'Stop Draggin' my heart around.' You can see and hear why, this is just an amazing performance. Stevie just kills it with her vocals and charisma here; owns the whole stadium
@muffin63696 жыл бұрын
ARE YOU FUCKING DEAF!!!? She cannot hit a note, stay on key, Lori and Sharon have to sing the parts with her that she usually sings alone. Half talking her lyrics again. She's walking around crazed because she's so high.STAGE CHARISMA?? Are you kidding. She is higher than a kite and CANNOT SING. Who are you listening to? You Stevie fiends should just try to be objective once in a while. Listen to her on White Winged Dove Tour awesome, Tusk incredible, the "Angry version of "Smile at Me" FLAMIN!!!The documentary of her singing 'In the Still of the Night" and "After the Glitter Fades". Now THERE is singing. Her voice is incredible. She would be the first to say this is atrocious!! But you guys never say a bad word even when she's fallen off the stage babbling.
@muffin63696 жыл бұрын
You are an idiot. The whole show she looks like she's been up for WEEKS. She's hoarse Lori and Sharon have to help her, she can't stay on key, she wanders around the stage kissing bob Glaub and waving at the band. WTF! Look at the rest of the performance. Listen to Rhiannon atrocious!! You Stevie fans will excuse ANYTHING!! Even she would be horrified.
@Choc1Joe6 жыл бұрын
Okay I shouldn't respond to someone who just uses insults, but I will here. I have the White Winged Dove cassette and have watched it countless times. And I have watched this performance at the US Festival many many times(the WHOLE US Festival performance), and I think she sounds just as good here. I think her versions of this song and 'Gold Dust Woman' are better here than on White Winged Dove. That is my opinion, and I strongly hold to it. And I won't resort to name calling to back my opinion up, because I am secure enough to not need to do it. Take care
@muffin63696 жыл бұрын
Insults look at what i wrote under the Rhiannon performance. I wrote trhat she was awesome on the White Winged Dove tOUR EVERY SONG. , Awesome Tusk era Sara and Sisters of the Moon, Awesome on the little backstage getting her makeup put on of Wild Heart, Awesome the video that says "A fragment of a video where she sings After the Glitter Fades and In the STill of the Night and of course awesome The Angry version of Smile at You...BUT I HAVE EARS Yeah that version of Rhiannon here at US was just sterling!!! Are you kidding me. She's hoarse, offkey, looks like she's been up for weeks, she's waving to Kunkel, running around the stage, can't hit any notes and his so blatantly off key it's pathetic. Not to mention slurring her words. What the hell video are you watching????And if SHE saw this just like when she viewed the I" Can't Wait video she would be appalled. She said about THAT video she wishes she could climb into the video and stab herself it was so awful and she was so loaded. That is from Stevie!!!
@muffin63696 жыл бұрын
And one more thing another awesome performance is "Angel 1979 St Louis". She is in her prime. But I WILL NOT condone a crap performance like you Stevie fiends and neither would she!!! At one point in this concert she just STOPS singing and walks around. Do you think all that yelling she does sounds good? It's because she cannot hit the notes. And why does she have tears in her eyes at the end of Rhiannon with Bittan???? Read what I posted under that.....it's because she knows she just gave a crap performance in front of David Bowie and all of her peers there. Half the time she's just waving to the crowd BUT NOT like at the end of White Winged Dove when she does "The Walk" and collects her flowers oh no she is just wandering!!!My favorite as I said is the Tusk "Sara" video. but NOT this US festival!!YOU need to do some comparison listening because I guarantee you and the rest of the "Oh take me with you my queen" people "SHE would be dying!!! One of the best is the S""tevie Nicks Fragment of a documentary with Jimmy Iovine awesome I am watching it now. but AGAIN I have fucking ears. Maybe it's because I lived with a famous blues musician for seven years but christ all you have to do is watch the Rhiannon performance here and go ahead and tell me that's good.

The line The loneliness of a one night stand is hard to take, I never knew how it felt growing up and I would sing it, then after the first time I had a one night stand and I heard that line and it was like a knife in my chest I didn't realize it when I was young, the pain she was feeling I understand her now and I feel for her

The Queen of Rock. Singer, songwriter, composer, and lived the life of a rockstar doing it…not many artists can claim the same and have survived… While other women of her era were going folk, Stevie leaned into real rock during this era… She moved through the world like her male counterparts during that era, yet never lost her femininity, nobody looked as beautiful as Stevie while simultaneously screaming like Janis Ultimately she would go more pop, and those albums have their highlights as well. But the world will never forget the screaming white witch that sung to our souls

❤ this is going to age me 🎉but I was there at the US Festival 1983 (and 1982) I don't remember U2, Motley Crue, beer/weed/mushrooms (I saw someone had them) * a bottle of H20 was more than $1 (😅) so we'd refill our bottles with water from the puddles 🤢 i remember singing the chorus for LOLA with the Kinks for 17 minutes. the only thing I can remember, from beginning to end, was Stevie...despite it being 110°...they used fire hoses on us all day, tons of mud...horrible water/portable loos. and Stevie... gracious. gorgeous. flawless. worth every second. I think I've seen her 17x (11 where Petty appeared) and there has never, ever, been a concert when I left thinking "meh. it was ok". with Stevie it is a perfect, delightful sing-a-long and she leads. amazing. hope to see her one last time in November. but this night (3 or 4?) was worth just hearing her sing. thanks Stevie ❤
