Man I love this song. That chromatic harp just makes me want to cry. Plus stevie's choice of phrasing his playing by plucking the strings at the bridge where the strings are really tense, inevitably adds tension to this song. Some of the most raw blues I've heard in my life.

@harry : dear Harry, I love Jimmie' s playing since I first saw him live 1980 in Hamburg, Germany. Both are/were great. Please read the Guitar Player Mag about JLV from 1986. Jimmie could play everything, but deliberatly choose his lean, sparse and clean style. For me, Jimmie rules !

Vincent Moser I couldn’t agree more When he left the Fab TBirds they tried every combination of guitar players to replace him unfortunately They never could, he could make his guitar sound like an old Leslie organ When jimmy franny Kristina and Preston Hubbard we’re with Kim Wilson that to me was the best they ever sounded, sadly when jimmy left things were never the same again One thing jimmy had in spades was style he always wore those black pleated slacks straight legged at the bottom with those killer pointy toe silver capped tips....., Texas Bluesman how to dress for a gig 101 Those were the days....., miss those guys
