Merry Christmas! Stevie always had the best bass players. Bass players on the internet often cover his songs. One of Stevie's best tunes. But then Stevie's worst is better than most artist's best.

I've always loved how Stevie Wonder jazzed up a pop song and gave it a memorable beat...here celebrating memories and antics of youth.

I first heard this song in the beginning of "Cheaper by the Dozen 2", and it's stayed with me almost two decades later.

The sounds you were asking about I believe is the bass player sliding real fast on the strings

Merry Christmas🎅🏾 the crazy thing about this classic is it almost gets lost in was is probably one of the 4 greatest albums of all time. Also dizzying is the fact that it came during the greatest 4 album run any artist or group has ever had. Incredible m🎼🔥✊🏾

“ Songs In The Key Of Life” , truly iconic legendary album , an album that defined the era when it was released, people were going back the their roots, because of the book and tv series “ Roots”, and America was experiencing its bicentennial celebration…

I can remember skating to this at skate land, great times. I can remember when they introduced him as little Stevie Wonder. Song in the key of life is best in my opinion.

Oh my God this hit really hard when I was in 8th or 9th grade. So dang good. But also check out his incredible from a couple years earlier, possibly with the first legitimate use of a synthesized bass on top of the actual electric bass line. which I heard on the radio in early grade school, "Boogie on Reggae Woman". He really shows off his harp skills on that one as well.
