In this video, they lowball an older lady really bad. I was really disappointed to see this from a channel I typically enjoy.

Here’s the thing Steve , resellers in general should NEVER complain or bitch about getting ripped off by any service professional, like a plumber , an electrician , a Tax expert , etc. if an plumber came in and charged them 5000$ to wrench a pipe and they sealed it with bubble gum , and they got scammed , what comes around goes around.

If you go to 3 yard sales a year, chances are you will think this is fake / unrealistic. But if you go to 30 yard sales a weekend, it becomes clear that there is an abundance of good deals out there waiting to be had, and people are just trying to get rid of stuff - sometimes they want pricecharting value, and other times they don’t care how cheap it goes - they want to give resellers or collectors a good deal just to have the mental or physical space back when it comes down to it

On the point of field testing, when Im garage sailing, anytime I showed interest in electrical goods, Id ask the seller if I could plug in the device to an outlet to at least see the item would turn on & go thru some paces. Didnt think about battery powered devices except checking for corroded contacts or (the worse sign) "crystalized" batteries in the compartment.

When I was younger I used to watch this show called American pickers and the people buying would always know the value of what they bought and made fair reasonable offers on everything even if the owner had no idea what they had. They even went back and gave people more if they accidentally found something way more valuable than they thought. I have not seen a single KZbin who has this mentality they have more of a storage wars mentality. Pay as little as possible and beat everyone else.

One thought always comes back to my mind when I see these people with collections like this and who resell: How many of these games are just wall ornaments and do they actually play them? Granted I get having a backlog, but I most half of them or more just collect to have a pretty shelf. I love experiencing games I never did as a kid and if I pay $500 for a damn game, I’m gonna play that game! (Persona 2 Eternal Punishment was that game). 👍🏻 Keep up the kickass content Steve. 🤘🏻

I have never found amazing deals like this at a yard sale or a thrift store, but honestly time is precious and there's not a whole lot of it. I'd rather spend my time going on vacations, gojng to conventions, hiking, camping etc. As opposed to hitting up 90percent of the yardsales happening on the weekend or going to the same thrift store 3 to 5 times a week.

I just found armored core last raven at a flea market for 40 bucks on Saturday. CIB in great condition. People who sell games way below market value dont do it because theyre stupid, they do it because they arent greedy. I think every reseller views people who sell games well below market value all as idiots or something. When i see a deal on a game I've wanted i am so grateful. I make sure to let them know everytime.

It’s all love brother. I recognize their good deeds in my video and that’s why I’m a fan of their channel. This particular one just rubbed me the wrong way. It wasn’t necessarily me needing content. I’ve got another reseller video dropping Thursday and another this weekend. In all honesty, I wanted to do a video on GOTG and this felt like the perfect opportunity. Consider it my way of collecting resellers the same way a collector collects games. Everyone gets a turn eventually.

If you want to be even more disgusted, go to the new comments on their video calling them out for this behavior, and you can see they just relish in having people leave their channel, like they get off on it. They're proud that they ripped someone off who didn't know better, and thumb their nose at people who have an actual conscience. Classic morally bankrupt greed monster mentality. I used to watch some of their videos on light gun games but after seeing this I told KZbin to never recommend any of their videos to me again. Good riddance. The sad thing is, it's the easiest thing in the world to be a decent person. Just don't be greedy, that's it! I don't go thrifting anymore (mostly because scumbag scalpers clean the places out at dawn) but when I did, if I saw a game I already had but was way underpriced, I just left it there. Id had wanted to get wcw vs the world so im looking on ebay seen a copy for 14 bucks it had make a offer option so i offered 11 he declined it instantly so i started just low balling shit out of him seeing i knew he probably paid 1 dollar for it if that. When u say bobos its like you seen them b4 and then u describe them like u don't know them. And I'm sure youve seen them b4 unless it's a Mandela effect I'm not 100% sure. You're right about the green and the shorts. I've seen them b4 I'm not sure if there resellers. I've never seen them b4 ots a shame if they turn into every other scalper. What you’ve described is classic “victim blaming” but Broski not everyone is educated or experienced enough to use the internet like you. I know it seems easy to you because you’re experienced but I had to help my mom delete photos on her phone the other day. People are really out here living life with technology clueless. All that aside though. If GOTG didn’t really know what all was inside those cases, then neither did the seller. I don’t blame them 100% for what happened but I can certainly blame them 100% for not going back and giving more when they realized what all they bought. Instead, they decided to make a video boasting about it and for that, they get a few jokes thrown at them. As I stated in the video, I like their channel but that doesn’t mean they’re immune to criticism.
