If the target of the attack is dead.... is that still ‘rape’ ??? Yes, there has been no consent to the act. But then again, the ‘victim’ is dead. This will form the basis of my defence if ever I am standing trail for rape of a boy scout. “I was under the distinct impression, m’lud, that the little chap was deceased. It was only upon his complaining that I came too quick, that I realised my grave error”

@NSsnIpeZ except that a great many KZbin videos do not have ads. My understanding was that the ads paying the KZbin bills were the banners at the top and boxes at the side. The ads that are locked to videos that you cannot skip are ones placed by whoever runs the channel. Is this not the case? In which case, why do other popular commercial channels not have ads placed to pay KZbin bills?

***** the licence fee isn't just for BBC programming. A TV Licensing spokesperson said: “Anyone who is caught watching or recording TV programmes at the same time as they are shown on TV without a valid licence risks a prosecution and a fine of up to £1,000. "You cannot be imprisoned for not having a TV Licence. A custodial sentence can be imposed by the court for non-payment of court fines, including fines for failure to have a TV Licence."

@Epicurus341 This stuff should not be available on KZbin, because I pay for it with my license fee. And I would go further - the iPlayer should be blocked unless you provide your licence number. @DrumTrimmings88 It's not that I don't get the jokes. It's that I feel as if he's condescendingly packing the jokes for a slower-thinking crowd because he drags out the repetition part longer than necessary to make the joke work. Basically a joke with the pattern "say A, then repeat B 3 times, then say punchline" is the same exact joke as "say A, then repeat B 12 times, then say punchline". The extra repetitions of the middle bit don't help at all.

Stewart Lee reads the Grauniad it's here and reasonably funny. He could have delivered this and the audience would have wet themselves given that they laugh when he moves the mike stand. As he recounts in his seminal paper, The first case of homosexual necrophilia in the mallard anas platyrhynchos, he was in his office in the Natuurmuseum Rotterdam, when he was alerted by a bang to the fact a bird had crashed into the glass facade of the building. "I went downstairs immediately to see if the window was damaged, and saw a drake mallard (anas platyrhynchos) lying motionless on its belly in the sand, two metres outside the facade. The unfortunate duck apparently had hit the building in full flight at a height of about three metres from the ground. Next to the obviously dead duck, another male mallard (in full adult plumage without any visible traces of moult) was present. He forcibly pecked into the back, the base of the bill and mostly into the back of the head of the dead mallard for about two minutes, then mounted the corpse and started to copulate, with great force, almost continuously pecking the side of the head

@interminablecreature KZbin is an open forum allowing people to look up something to express an opinion. That is the point of the comment section. I didn't search for this video, it was suggested to me after looking at another comedian. Maybe that happened to other people who did not like this video. Stop trying to look intelligent on a comment section that really is the bowels of the internet.

Why do people... look up stewart lee on you tube... watch it... then say... "I have never found this man funny, he is not funny, I have watched him loads, he does not make me laugh" It suggests a certain mentalism. I don't look up Michael McIntyre videos for the same purpose. I think maybe, not finding Stewart Lee funny makes people feel stupid and that bothers them. And that is sad. I wish they didn't feel like that. Because it does make them stupid and they should learn to accept it...

@BlunderCats It's all good. McIntyre is ok if you're in the mood for light-hearted stuff, but it bothers me that he never says anything remotely challenging or risky. Lee can be a repetitive pedant, but when he hits a sweet spot I think he's untouchable. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Stewart Lee is kind of hit or miss for me, some of his stuff I just don't find funny, some I do. What I really hate though, is the attitude of, "if you don't like him, then you're stupid", which is complete bollocks. Comedy is subjective, and attitudes like that show arrogance, or an inferiority complex. Get over yourselves, @interminablecreature

Stewart Lee: 10 minutes of very funny material, unfortunately packed into a 30 minute show using his annoyingly repetitious delivery. The technique of over-emphasizing repetition to the point of boredom and them blasting through that barrier to where it's funny again is funny once or twice, but now when it's constantly happening with each and every joke told.

Actually nature does want us to be good, it's called being a communal species. Such concepts of fairness, empathy etc have been found in nearly all major communal animals. We are indeed part of nature and our own ideals are based on our own nature. This is why all major large groups of humans across time have all agreed to make laws that are similar (that most people agree with). Of course a small minority of humans are messed up rapists and killers, but the small minority (which a lot of the times have been victimised as children) don't represent normal human behaviour. Just take the concept of a mother loving and caring for it's young. The simple evolutionary pressure here is to select for this behaviour. This is because mothers of animals or humans who discarded or didn't care for their young would not pass on their genes, as their young would simply die. The young taken care of by the females with the more caring behaviour will grow up and pass on their genes, thus there is a selective pressure for this kind of motherly instinct. This nature also is within men's behaviour to a degree as well, which is why most men feel good to provide for their children. This behaviour is within most mammals (especially advanced ones), essentially the concept of the family is not a human concept, it has predated humans, the concept of a tribe has also predated humans. These behaviours are not things that started with us, only things we inherited. Of course Stewart is not a biologist or an evolutionist, so he doesn't really understand any of this. So he just jumps to ignorant conclusions.
