Quick and simple...and very effective .it's certainly not an exercise where I load the barbell too much ,my favorite exercise for hamstrings for many years ..Nice control and nice growth ..Thanks for the video..

Is it me or is he rounding his mid/upper back a fair bit? should that not stay flat the whole time? Please correct if I am wrong

Upper back rounding is normal and safe. Lower back is where problems arise

He is rounding his lower back which makes his exercise a back killer. Hinging from the hip and having the butt move backward on descent while maintaining a neutral spine is the way to go. Doing it this way, a good hamstring stretch will occur when the bar is just slightly under the knees.

Unfortunately incorrectly performed. The lower back should not rounden and the knees should not be locked.
