@@TheRuralProject hello my friend. Yeah, it just seemed to be getting no fire and happened very suddenly. So I changed the spark plug and it didn’t fix the issue. I knew it would pretty much have to be the coil at that point. Thanks for watching my friend and God bless!

I've been waiting on a backorder still coil for 7 weeks the saw is just over a year old. Not a happy camper

What site did you order it on? I believe I ordered mine on eBay and it came in within a week or so.

What bothers me is the saw was just over a year old and Stihl cant get me the part to get 650 dollar saw to run in 4 months????

I don’t believe it was oem but I get off brand parts a lot. I agree about it wearing out prematurely though. I feel like mine went way too soon as well. Newer things seem to be made to fail in little time. Maybe so they can make money on the parts. That’s how it seems to me anyways.
