Still don't have brakes on the s10!

last video we installed a disc/disc proportioning valve and thought we didn't have all the air bled out but this video we tried bleeding for hours and still don't have brakes! What's going on? I think we have a bad master cylinder!

Had similar problems on my 63 drum brake system. (NO PROPORTIONING VALVE) But replaced 6' of line on the rear and 3' of line on the front. Bled with a pneumatic, had similar fittings that snap on the bleeders, had to make sure that those black snap on rubber fittings were as vertical as possible. Even though they snap on tight, they can still suck air. Someone recommended to me using an O-ring on the base of the bleeders. Helps prevent air passing by when they are broke loose. Also had to go around and smoke the hell out of each fitting, all to find out front wheel cylinders even though they arent leaking fluid, the pressure is enough the seals are still letting air into the lines (WHEN PNEUMATICALLY BLEEDING). So once you get MOST of the air out, still have to do the old fashioned two person method just to finish them off. Or in my case, need to get new wheel cylinders. You fellers are hilarious by the way, love the content. I could watch ya'll bleed brakes all day. Dopest Brakes around.

Seems like the master cylinder, but being you guys changed out the proportioning valve it could have air trapped in it. On the rear calipers I would pick up some new bleeder valves. Hope you get it figured out soon. 💯🔧🔧🔧

We tried bleeding the proportioning valve with the bleeder on the front of it. I think it’s something with the master cylinder either air trapped in it or a bad seal. Thanks brother!🤙

Try bench bleading the master cylinder. It’s got air trapped in the master cylinder.

Put you some valve lapping Compound on that thing screwed in and out a few times

If you pump the brakes up and they get hard and then they slowly go to the floor it's definitely the master cylinder

Once you pump them they stay solid

🤣 yeah it is a leaking ass dodge master, it came with the manual brake kit. I agree it’s a POS!
