Hi, thanks for the review. The only thing I would change, because of a visual issue as a passenger, is the thickness of the clock hands which are difficult for me to read at night. We have an RX450h (our 7th Lexus) bought a year ago that replaced the one previously bought new three years earlier for our small family business taking business people on mainly airport transfers. My 2013 Lexus Rx450h (Luxury package) v6 3.5L+hybrid=295hp i love it. So good gas. City: 30mpg Hiway: 28mpg Full tank all the way. 15.2galons gas. all hiway get 400-430miles a tank of gas. Compare to My 2015 honda crv Awd in-line 4 (2.4L) (185hp) 15.2galons gas full tank. All hiway i got 340-360miles a tank of gas. I love Rx450h mores. I Drive everyday. First thing i love is the Transmission cvt. Cant feels any gears shifts. 1speeds transmission keep goin 0-80mph. I test drove my friend Lexus 2018 Rx350 u still can feels the Transmission shifting 1-2-3-4-5-6ths...

It's so much more different than my model quiet an upgrade for just a next generation I agree the rx just has a more exquisite demanding feel It shows more authority and means business doesn't need to prove itself to anybody it just does it especially the hybrid models Attention to detail and material quality is also better than the nx and many of the sedans es included They should do a facelift quickly though and not leave it too long s new grille and some interior bits to keep it as king of segment Once you own an rx it's difficult to change to other cars as it does everything so well

You need to add sound quality when doing the reviews bro. Some people are picky about that when purchasing a vehicle. Besides that I don’t think I have any problems with this so far as it has drive mode options and it feels comfortable driving it.

36% better gas mileage, then requires premium fuel which costs >40% more than 87 octane?? Plus the hybrid costs more than the 350. Then there’s more moving parts for the CVT engine, which means more potential for transmission problems with 450h (vs tried & true auto V6 in 350). Not sure the few extra hp are worth the increased costs for this model. Then there’s the batteries that could need to be replaced, though to their credit Lexus has just increased their battery warranty from 100k ton150k. There may be some environmental benefit for the hybrid, but not sure it’s all worth it versus 350. Good review. Thoughts Kirk?

I am curious if while you were reviewing this vehicle you noticed when you put it into reverse and proceeded to back up at slow speeds you heard a noticeable rattling sound. I have a 2017 RX 450h brought it to the dealership they said it was completely normal. If so it is very unlexus-like... I traded my 2008 RX 400h and never had that issue. The sound is surprising for a vehicle costing close to 60k. I also found my 2008 RX to have better fit and finish... more exposed gaps and plastic in my 2017 with some minor sharp edging. You're thoughts would be helpful. Thanks for the video!

they should definately should change the to overdone fronte end !! It hangs to much over and their company grill design does fit on low profile and wide cars (ES 300) but not on high profile cars liek SUV´s ! The 2013-2015 was the best fitting front end ,imo .

Definitely “F” version, but mainly Lane-keep should stop the car if you don’t respond ( because you’ve fallen asleep) rather than switching off & letting you crash. The German ones do. Appearance is perfect, change nothing. Maybe longer wheelbase for 7-seat so adults can sit back there. Still a totally gorgeous car 😎🇬🇧 AND APPLE CAR PLAY PLEASE ❤️❤️

i personally love the chrome on the grill 😂 but anyway this car is a little odd, because we have a '16 RX 450h luxury package and it has power folding and heated rear seats and I thought that feature was standard in the luxury package. anyway, great review!

The power folding and heated rear seats are region-specific items. Strangely Lexus doesn't like to send them to our region. If you live in the mountains or possibly Canada I bet they are far easier to come by. Congrats on your fully-loaded RX!

i guess lexus distribution is weird or something bc i live in southern california. maybe our car was a custom order; we’re the second owners and bought it certified used. it is pretty unique however because like i said it’s a luxury package and it has the triple beam led headlights without the panoramic roof option or the awd option.

is the ride quality in the 2016-2019 much better than the older 2009-2012 or 2013-2015 ? i have a air suspension from 2010 and its quite bumpy and rumbling even with new shocks....the little new UX has a much softer , comfortable ride .

The UX is awesome...has a much better ride than the current NX. The 2020 RX rides pretty dang well! Better than any older rx. I still prefer how the GX rides over the RX 😅

I love how they have gone back to the 90's JDM color combo on the interior here, that sepia & brown is classic. Wow, the aluminum trim lines in the wood is very sleek, well done Lexus. Traded a RX350 2016 for a 2019 RX 450h and surprised at checkout that premium gas required. Given the marginal mpg improvement seems like an engineering exercise for Lexus designers rather than an economically viable choice. Very powerful, fun to drive.

Yes Lexus are very fine automobiles but the automobile industry has messed up and at several models Nissan I know for one because I used to have one and I never had a. Lexus yet but due to they have CVT transmissions which are no good is nothing but entrapment you might get 60 or70 thousand miles or however then you will be stuck out there that continuing on with payment do not get any vehicle that has a CVT transmission.
