I tried to hit a fade stinger with my driver, into the wind on a dogleg right yesterday and I pulled it off perfectly. 255 in the middle of the fairway. I then hit a gap wedge to 8 feet and made the putt for birdie. It was the 6th hole and I walked off the course. I’m done for the year. I may never play again.

You can tell how happy the golfers are with these shots. We all do it after we know we just hit a nice tee shot. We immediately strut to the tee, pick it up before our ball even lands, then strut down the fairway as it lands.

I love hitting a stinger into the wind or on a super tight driving hole. Super easy shot to hit. Most people’s problems is they get super tense and try to swing even harder. Both are killers for this shot. Have to be relaxed and a smooth swing. Tee it up a tad lower and more like a fairway wood or hybrid position and smooth I like to think 50-60% swing, and presto stinger!

This is how all my drives are. And I use 3 wood. I prefer the 45 degree flight, I shut down the face. Keeps it out of the wind and still goes 280-290.
