The best thing about this scene is the irony that Tony Burton who Gene slaps on the head (that most remember from the first 4 Rocky films) was himself a Golden Gloves Champ and a pro boxer at Lt Heavy. His fear when he hit (and barely affected) former 2xPro Bowl and Superbowl winning Defensive End Cedric Hardman is comedy gold. The look on Tony's face when he hits him and points at Gene is hilarious.
