03 had the funny steering wheel early 04 has the 3.5 outlet on the back of turbo elbow 04.5 and up 4 inch all the way out also 04 came with the he341 and if you look at build dates on the door you can tell 04.5 are made in 04 and early 04 are made in late 03

I run the 5" downpipe to an 8" axle dump on my work truck. The welder, toolbox, and aux tank definitely muffle it in the cab though. Eventually I'm going to go back out the back but the axle dump keeps the soot off of customer trailers 😁

Be careful with that boot from the turbo to the hotpipe. I bought that same amazon kit and it leaked from day one. Got a replacement factory style boot and haven't had issues since!

Incorrect. All ‘04’s have that steering wheel. The other is ‘03 ONLY Edit: 04, 04.5? Electronic wastegate is 04.5
