When someone saids you have no credentials no one needs credentials in this country to call themselves a herbalist as it’s not recognized in this country. Learning to make your own herbal medicines will be vital moving forward as our healthcare system breaks down. I have been treating myself and family for many years from my own herbal medicine cabinet. Everything that we need to treat ourselves is in nature.

You keep doing what you are doing and dont listen to the unknowing critics. Those who can do, DO, those who cant, criticize! I have always played around with herbs and weeds. Thank God for that because dandelions saved my life. They are a very strong cancer CURE. Then i moved to the city. Here is this crazy lady running around picking dandelions and all kinds of weeds. They use to laugh at me. Now, they all come over to learn from me and enjoy my garden in the hood LOL! Much love to you! You are a real woman. Giving up your career in order to raise loving and secure children, who will be a gift to all of society when grown. Women give life! We used to be very cherished and admired for this. Now we are laughed at for staying home? Nope, its the plan of the evil ones to destroy the family and destroy the children! I hope more women follow in your footsteps!

Thank you so much for this information. I've dealt with chronic anxiety since a child. I know my own system and if medication helps, I don't mind. That being said, I would PREFER a natural remedy not to mention we don't know what the future holds and the possibility of not being able to get your medication is a very realistic concern. Like you, I've always had a strong interest in herbal medicine and supplements. I believe God provided everything we need in the natural world (which includes traditional medication too), but we have no idea what else is in the ingredients. I always wonder how many people know that when the Bible warns us of using "sorcery " the word is PHARMAKIA. I know for myself, I've had reactions to the binders that medicine contains and is a necessary ingredient. Anyway, thank you for choosing to do what you're doing as you're still utilizing your teaching degree. I hope all goes well with your move. After all, what better state for you than the "Garden State". God bless

I am able to talk to her about how being at gatherings is now difficult for me. I get anxiety really bad. I don't leave my house anymore because of it. I should say, rarely do I leave the house. Place in cool, dark Place for 1 wk. Strain. You will end up with 1 qt product. Drink 1 Tbls each day as needed. I used daily all last winter & never got sick. I am almost 65 & work as RN full time. I had a better time in high school than elementary school, but it still wasn't great. Elementary school was traumatizing. As an adult, I can look back, and it makes me wonder what the home life was like for some kids. I think some of the worst behaved and most abusive kids came from single parent households, usually headed up by a single mother. Someone's liable to get triggered by that statement, but that was my experience.

I appreciated your talk about how you got interested in herbalism. I like April (She is of the Woods) too. On the subject of the color of the plants, I realize it can be potentially annoying to have everyone give you their own input, and at the risk of being annoying, I'm going to do it too. The color of the flower can be relevant when it comes to using them medicinally. Dr. Jones, from the Homegrown Herbalist channel and school, mentioned that in a talk he gave on his channel. He didn’t approach the topic from a position of fear and absolutes, but he made the point that everything about a plant's features has a chemical association that influences the attributes of a plant, even the color. He showed a couple of examples; one was Calendula. He showed the difference between a traditional Calendula plant and a hybrid, so his point was that you want to look at the name, especially if you are wanting to derive specific benefits from a plant, because there could be some variance. It's kind of like making a food recipe. You can substitute sticks of margarine, or a butter & canola oil blend, for butter in a recipe, but the outcome, though okay and edible, may not be the same or as good as if you'd used real butter. That's my analogy (butter), not Dr. Jones. It's applicable to artificial sweeteners too. The reason they taste sweet and mimic the sweetness of sugar, as best they can, is because their chemical shape matches, or approximates closely enough, the shape of the receptors on the tongue. I'm not trying to play "know-it-all," because I'm a novice, but it seemed like something that might be helpful to someone if they are new to herbalism since the topic was broached in the video.
