another great video Lisa, thank you. Due to the cost of canned pumpkin I canned myself, 6 qts of pumpkin and I do have a couple of Libby's small cans on my pantry shelf. I have not thought of canned artichokes for years. I used to make a salad for my husband and I (50 years ago) and it would just be lettuce, artichokes, red onion and the dressing would just be the spiced brine the artichokes came in. Hi, this is the first video of yours that I’ve seen. You’re very intelligent and you have a beautiful, friendly speaking voice. I wonder though, apart from the mercury poisoning our waters and us, if you take into account the radio active waste from Fukushima? It’s been more than ten years since the meltdown-I’ve tried not to eat anything from the ocean. It was so catastrophic yet I never hear anyone talking about it. I’m suspicious. The entire fishing industry would collapse if “someone” who is trustworthy would call it out. It has to be having an effect. 🤷🏻♀️

I believe I already have chickpea flour, along with cassava flour, brown rice flour, etc. many different flours, but it seems you can use beans (mashed) in place of flour too. I have made chocolate cake from black beans (and chocolate too of course) and it was THE BEST cake I have ever eaten! Avocados can also be used in place of butter, processed dates in place of sugar, etc. I have had many of these desserts and they usually out-do the typical flour, sugar, etc. desserts.

Mine too! When our president reminded us to not hoard, I did anyways as I am on two very specialized diets. We used to have a huge garden, which got bigger every year, as I would grow, harvest and can everything we ate. Now at an elderly age, and in a wheelchair full time, it makes doing all this difficult but my husband did buy a raised garden bed so at least we can get fresh vegetables! We live in Michigan's Upper Peninsula where canned goods are triple the price of lower Michigan and fresh produce in store or roadside stands are double what they cost elsewhere. Try $3.99 for a 6 inch wide cabbage or $1.32 for 1 fresh apple. Hamburger, not ground chuck, is $5.25 up to $6.99 per pound! How many pounds would you like today?

My bad cholesterol levels had dropped more than when trying statins ( I didn’t stay on those) or when switching to whole grains and almost no fats. I actually have to store up more. Thanks, for the useful info. So far, my favorite pantry/prep up foods are the Keystone Beef, Keystone Pork, and Bumble Bee Albacore Tuna Fish (in water). I like the Albacore because the smell/taste is less fishy. There are other foods I like, but those are my favorites. We started using canned tomatoes for our Tacos. It tastes different than fresh tomatoes, but it still works for us. We are using the salt free canned tomatoes. I take a high potency (5,000 mcg) chewable B-12 tablet everyday, and it's in the form of methylcobalamin, which absorbs into the body easier than the cyanocobalamin form . I even give one to my German Shepherd everyday.

Yes, not the pumpkin pie mix, just the puree. My vet has told us to feed it to my 9 year old Border Collie/ malamute mixed breed critter as it will help digestion and critters love it as well as being healthy! Several years ago I visited a pumpkin farm, after Halloween, of course and they were giving them away but just make sure they are the pie pumpkins, rather than just the large decorative ones. I just cooked/baked them, removed the skin , mashed them, putting them in freezer containers, until I needed one. FYI: a lot of canned dog food, or dry dog food, now will often have pumpskin mixed in it too.@@lesajackson3880

It's always exciting to see a new video from you up. I was very happy that you included canned pumpkin in here. I use it for all kinds of things (even as a substitute for tomatoes!) and am looking forward to the post-holiday price drop so I can stock up again. Sardines are good baked. Tastes a lot better than just eating them straight out of the can. Some smell really bad, but some have a mild odor.

Details on how I should bake them, please.
@bobbyadkins698311 ай бұрын
@@MarilynBruno Experiment with them. Try 400 degrees, season them with some spices you like, bake for about 20-30 minutes.
