Followed after by a new WWII run in which Italy might have more success than before. However I had a lot of fun with Magna Europa and a lot of you are asking for an episode 04, so maybe there will be a reboot in the future.

How many u-boats are there in the Atlantic? Also, if American invasion fleets manage to cross the Atlantic, how would they get air superiority? Carriers are not that great vs large land-based air forces. Any invading army across the Atlantic could also easily be cut off from supplies.

@@bangercakes Bucharest was a village created by a shepherd named Bucur. The capital was moved there for the ruller to be closer to the otoman front.

@@bangercakes Yes, Budapest was created by merging the cities of Buda, Pest and Óbuda (old buda). The names Buda and Pest both have uncertain origins. According to legend, Buda comes from "Bleda" the name of Attila the Huns brother. It could also come from the Turkic name "Bud" or "Bod" meaning twig but I don't see how this makes sense. The most plausible is that Buda coms from the slavic term "Voda" meaning water, because Buda is on a hill overlooking the Danube river. Pest may have it's name's origin in Roman times. You see, Pest was built on the Roman town Contra-Aquincum, which Ptolemy (it doesn't say which) called "Pession". Alternatively, Pest may come from "pestera" an old slavic word for "cave". Bucharest is interesting in that in Romanian it's called Bucuresti which sounds less similar to Budapest than Bucharest. Anyway, most sources I see derive it's name "joy" in some language, so Bucharest may mean "city of joy". However, a 19th century Austrian book derives the name from Bukovie, a beech forest.
