Hi! Welcome to my polymer clay Stone Effect Tutorial! Some people also refer to this technique as water colour, or marble effect too. But it doesn't really matter what it's called - the main thing is that it is really simple and looks amazing!!
In todays tutorial I've used black and white polymer clay, along with translucent. The alcohol inks used are Couture Creations Midnight Black, Pearl Silver and Baby Pink. All these items are available through our online store www.thelittlecrafthouse.com.au

These are really pretty. Would love to have seen you use trans as a backer on the reverse side - think it would have looked pretty and made them dual sided. Prefer the full tutorial too instead of shorts - sorry. Thank you and have a lovely day.

Hi Mandy. Thanks for your feedback! I aim to do one full length tutorial every week. I share the shorts as it's content I already do for instagram - so share it here too! I agree though - full length are definitely better as its hard to squeeze all the info into 60secs!

Thanks for this! Very helpful. When I work with white clay and pale pastel colours it often picks up dust and dirt from my hands and roller even though I wash both. Do you use alcohol wipes to clear your hands and roller?

Hi! I’m not a clean worker! 🤣 so yes, I use either the alcohol wipes or isopropyl alcohol to clean everything! Including the clay!

Hi! I usually use Eparency Top Coat. Ill attach a link to a doming tutorial I did that goes through the process. Its an epoxy 1:1 mix. I prefer it over UV which I never have much luck with! kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZzHgXaHpayGq80 thelittlecrafthouse.com.au/search?q=top+coat

If you put them in water, that takes the tackiness off.
