The people don't matter. Erasing them would be easy peasy if they were right over the border. What matters is that they're in America. Even if you remove the identities, there's still the fact that you bombed Americans in America. That's a bad look that's hard to spin. Especially during controversial times like a martial law. If it was really that easy, don't you think they'd do it more? Again, look at Ruby Ridge or Waco. They'd send personnel because it's quieter, they don't give a shit if any of their troops die, and if troops do die, it's easier to martyr them and paint the group as evil.

Probably would've expected him to start shooting at them fight them with every bullet he has and get shot up dying like an American hero. Thats what they were imagining him doing. cause to the nuts who made this movies its ether you are a trigger happy guy who will die for the dumbest shit or your a coward.

I miss the good old days when Alex Jones was just in Richard Linklater movies

This is extra funny in hindsight. "You see son, this movie is about the president imposing martial law to subvert the will of the American people and imprison everyone who disagrees with him." "But daddy, I thought that was a good thing?" "No, son. You see, it's a bad thing because this president........is a DEMOCRAT." "AAAAAAAAAA!"

The thing that was factually right about this movie was the thing about GMOs which I assume was only added because most farmers are conservative but also doesn’t make sense because Alex Jones would be against gmos so there seems to be a conflict of messages

This movie let's you know religion is about tribalism and warfare. The Jesus that the Christians worship is not the Jesus of the Gospel he would be the Jesus of the Book of Revelation. You know Thanos.

If someone told me that the script to this was a spoof home assignment from a drunk film student, trying to pepper it with Disney sitcom tropes, I'd believe it.

The ironic thing is when I first heard about Alex Jones it was in a prometheus review back when info wars was still on KZbin. In it he praised the film for showing how secret societies work or their goals in a subtle and reasonable way, without showing them in evil mustache twirling stereotypes. And now he presents them as..... This.. The president in this film might as well be named Baron Evil Mctwirlyface.
@TheKeyser945 жыл бұрын
You don't remember him for that god awful review of Elysium? Were he accuse the producers of being racist even that the only main plot was giving heath-care to poor people and minorities, and not a special privilege of the rich and powerful. That mirror real life now, seeing how many billionaires want to escape the planet and not face the consequences of their own actions.

Something really strange about these sort of low budget movies is how many of them apparently can't be bothered to grab even a replica of an actual combat helmet. It's really odd.

18:10 Uh, can crossbow bolts penetrate flak jackets/bulletproof vests? And/or what were those soldiers doing without any kind of protection in a firefight? What are the Russian military (or UN guys, dunno) doing in that civie helicopter? Giving a traffic report? I also love that the helicopter is clearly just a rental that they stuck giant "UN" stickers on a few times - and they picked the wrong model, and wrong colour scheme. 10 seconds on Google shows United Nations helicopters are all white, and definitely on the bulkier side.
