No it’s not women are lazy and don’t take care of their hair. I’ve had ok 50k clients. The ones that aren’t lazy and have these are dealing with a illness that affects the follicles. I’ve been doing this well over a decade. You can clean your water before you use it we need ACCOUNTABILITY if things will change. If that were true all races would have this issue were on the same planet.

This is why I can't go to these new style braiders. I noticed this back in the 90s in the Caribbean when I had braids for 12 weeks at a time. If I only used braid spray ( water based) and washed my hair once a month my hair stayed clean with less build up. Now I live in London and my trichologists told me to wash my hair once a week. I have braids in that I did myself with no extra products on my scalp except water-based braid spray. I went 12 days without washing due to life stresses and you know when I washed these braids the water was dark! I know that has to be from the polluted air! I need to move back to the Caribbean! Lol!
