I just wanted to say, thank you for your videos. I have been binge watching them and sharing them like crazy because you are so good at clearly laying everything out and explaining the how and the why we are supposed to do things. In the two months that I have been following your instructions, I have lost 15 pounds and gained a lot of muscle. My progress pictures are pretty dramatic, thanks to you!

I’m a fellow personal trainer, and I must say that the amount of effort Eric puts into creating his videos is impressive.💪 I’m a huge fan of your content, Eric. Our approach to fitness/programming/ nutrition is identical.😊 My approach to doing dishes is a bit different, though!😁 I don’t see anything wrong with using a dishwasher.😅 I listen to your podcast religiously during my workouts.🏋️♂️ (Yes, I left a 5-star rating and review a long time ago.😁) There’s no other person in the fitness industry who I respect more than you, Eric. Just wanted to say thank you for what you do, man.🙂

The difference is how much it takes to recover after doing very heavy sets, so you can't do as many sets

Don’t understand so lift heavy for less reps or lift light for longer

Thanks for the video. I just curious that should I use a variety of rep ranges in one workout by shifting the weight in each set? e.g. For the shoulder press, what if I want to do high rep with RIR 3+ as a warmup set, followed by 1-2 sets of moderate rep range (RIR 1-2) and then switch to 1 low reps (6-8) with higher weight (RIR 0-1) and then finish it off the last set with high rep with RIR 1-2. the total would be 5 working sets. I'm not sure whether if I do it this way is a good idea or not.

Again with this idea that we're getting winded doing 15 rep sets. DLs or squats, maybe, but otherwise, how many packs a day are you smoking?
