I called the real estate agent while viewing this video. My husband said he’s ready to go back to his country. So, I can start their but not sure I’ll stay. It may be what I need to start bopping around. So, tired of the grind and being worked like a dog.

Adalia, this video is so powerful and I'm grateful for your passion. It reminds of the Adalia I discovered 2 years ago that inspired me to take action. Before I found you, I was financially prepared but only daydreaming about the other side of freedom. I had that US fear-based conditioning that you mentioned and I was still (mentally) stuck in the matrix. Your videos helped me to "make it up in my mind so I could make it happen in my life." And I'm so grateful. I pray that someone is watching this and she will be inspired to take ACTION and make a change THIS YEAR. Whoever you are, there is a way out.

Thank you for making the desire to move and live on your own terms, not seem like a pipe dream! I'm not running away from problems or people, i love my job, but the urge to go has sat with me since 2010ish. I ended up getting engaged, and I thought he'd want to spend more time in his hometown Cali, but instead, he wanted to spend time in the hood with his mc club and with so called city "elites" playing that game. I digress. Nonetheless, I've done 3 big solo trips last yr to test the waters. I was surprised at my level of comfort. I awoke one night in my resort and thought, "Im sleeping way too hard to be by myself," sis was knocked out! I visit places/events alone in the city. I feel a change is necessary 😌 My daughters are grown, no grands, single... what's holding me back.... just need to dig in, research, and plan. Thanks again Adalia!

I needed to see this video. I’m making 2024 the year that I design the life I desire & require -ONCE & FOR ALL. I’ve been quitting jobs & taking sabbaticals since 2005. So I’ve been known that I don’t wanna work. I want to do what I want, when I want, from wherever I want. I’m 4 months shy of being an empty nester. So it’s not necessary for me to move in the ways that I once did to take care of my family, i.e. 9to5. The time is now ‼️

I absolutely know that I want to relocate to Costa Rica every since my first trip in 2004. I call back my peace, happiness and power to do, be and have what I want NOW! 🤗💝

Black excellence is bull..lol I don't follow that. I hate my job..but I'm counting down to retirement this July.. Because I have a state job, I had to stick it out in order to get my pension. But I definitely was that person dreading going back to work from the holidays. Especially since I had to beg for time off. Fear is how we have been groomed in the U.S. to control us. Good topic.

GREAT ADVICE! ALSO be nice to everyone, for they can help send business your way, if you are a business owner. Do not beg for donations, coffee or drinks, A big turn off. NOT YOU, but many on here. We reap what we sow.

I pray people listen to you. Real truth. Keeping written, audio and video journals stops you from dumping on friends, who have their own problems. You opened the library today, like I open the library, since I was born. I was told never accept money from people, for they feel they own you. I am very generous to none beggars, but never take my kindness for weakness. Bust your Sunday drawers with me, then I let the doorknob hit you where the excellent God split you. lol

we appreciate you so so much, thank you Picky Girl❤! i felt so obligated for aahhhlll the astronomical responsibilities i was pummeled with in my 'job role' for so many years.. unlit it was all taken away; i was made to look incompetent and crazy. now i must envision how i am going to navigate my change.. i cannot do battle anymore in a space where i was never welcomed as a black woman.
