1.) 0:23 - Conquer their past: Confident people don't let their past dictate them, they try to understand & navigate through it. 2.) 1:45 - Construct a high value skill: When we have a high value skill, we tend to value ourselves & we don't let other people dictate our value. In the pursuit of mastery, you will have to overcome challenges, developing resilience - and now your confidence is not based on arrogance/cockiness, your confidence is based on your ability to deal with challenging situations. 3.) 3:45 - Constantly Learn: Learning gives you a sense of achievement/drive, and a feeling like you are moving forward toward something. Consistently learning can truly transform the way you feel about yourself, and you start to trust yourself. When you are able to connect the dots & apply what you are learning to your surroundings, this gives you a sense of confidence. 4.) 5:10 - Compassion: Have compassion for yourself, you don't need to be perfect all the time. Confidence shows that you are okay with not being perfect, and not having all of the answers. 5.) 6:42 - Calmly Respond: Confidence comes not from reacting fast, but from responding slowly. Confident people listen, process and then respond - and then when they speak, people listen. Less is more. Respond from the act/rhythm of love, not hate. Go at your own pace. 6.) 7:31 - Certainty: Confident people feel certainty around their likes and dislikes, and what works and does not work. Asking yourself what your true beliefs are and then you can act on that internal certainty, rather than external factors. 7.) 8:45 - Competent Preparation: Confident people practice, prepare and work. They plan, visualize and prepare their energy & mindset. This is why the practice of daily habits is so important. **& My own advice I've stumbled upon....trust yourself. xx

You must first love yourself and used the God giver gift inside of you. Most importantly, use it for the honor and glory to God Almighty. Also having the fruit of the spirit ( Galatians 5 V 22- 23), Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. This is my definition of having confident and always that word LOVE.

If we go down the road of self-centeredness, then this takes us away from the possibility of real happiness. We want to portray a positive image of the self to others so that we are loved, accepted, to validate our worth. People base it on their body. Our idea of self worth is tied to this. Spiritually we understand this has nothing to do with our worth, with our lovableness.

Anytime I’ve compared myself to others, I’ve felt less than. Until I realized that the only person I should compare myself to, is the person I was yesterday. No matter what you compare, you will always find someone richer, better looking than you, has a nicer car, has a better (fill in the blanks). And it's totally pointless. When I began focusing on the idea of going to bed better than I woke up, basically making sure that throughout day I do things that make a better version than the one who woke up that morning, then life really began to change for me. Focus on you and your own progress. Run your own marathon!

I have low self esteem. As a college student , sometimes I cannot bring myself to be like others. Sometimes I'm wondering how could they do such things with so much confidence? , I used to write poems a lot but one day I woke up not feeling the same feelings I used to have whenever I'm holding a pen. That's why I decided to stop for now despite of hearing from others that I'm good and that they believe in my skills. It's funny on how other people believe in me but as an owner of my mind and body all I ever did was to doubt my capabilities. Thank you for this wonderful video Mr. Jay Shetty. I don't know what lies ahead of me but I'm looking forward to meet the better version of myself and maybe soon I'll find my way back into poems. ❤✨✨

It was hard for me to start journaling after I decided years ago that I’m not everyone’s golden writer child anymore. I’m taking my power back now and journaling daily (even if it’s just a few bullet points) to start taking an active role in changing my perception of myself. You can do it! After I learned how things that happened during my adolescent developmental period and other factors changed my response to the pressures of daily life in a negative way, I began with practicing mindfulness and a willingness to begin living in tune with and conscious of my behaviors and habits necessary to facilitate change. I’ve regressed back into old negative coping mechanisms many times but the more I educate myself, the more clarity I have and with clarity comes a greater ability to make good decisions for myself so that I can live a happy healthy life free from feeling inadequate or awkward or like a failure. I never was those things. I just didn’t have the tools I needed in my tool box to build myself into the confident, professional, loving, fun and helpful person I always wanted to be. I’m on that path now. I really hope you find your happiness and get your life back soon. You are worth it. 💙

Thanks Jay for the extremely useful tips. To come out of the past is most crucial step towards being super confident. One should consider past grief as a dream which is not true and over...the problem is we constantly remind ourselves of the pain we went through during the difficult times and that stops us to move ahead. Once we see past as past and be thankful that you have sailed through it , you will be confident.
