It makes me sad that eating clean and healthy is so expensive that most people cannot afford to do so. We as consumers ought to demand more from the food industry - that’s the only way they’ll be incentivized to compete and deliver better ingredients at more accessible prices.

Bobby here’s a tip: show price tag of the products you look at. Compare the good and bad food and explain if the price increase is worth it
@andreacremeans10553 жыл бұрын
I will usually do that. If I can make it myself and work it into my schedule without it affecting my stress I will also make my own products. I make my own yogurts and breads etc. already. But I will also make some other foods and stuff if it’s more affordable than the expensive option at the store. Yogurt for example is best when made at home. You get the most probiotics at their freshest point when you make it at home. The best yogurt I have available is $6.00 plus per tub (less than a quart) and I can make it for less than $1.00

I recently bought monkfruit for the first time thanks to your recommendation. He loves monkfruit. I think he's using too much of it, he went through four 8 oz bags in 1 week. I appreciate the video. The prices for those foods are outrageous. When people want to eat healthier, the food companies surely make it hard for them. We make our own baked goods, for a fraction of the cost. We mostly eat eggs but for a change, it is also easy to make you own cereal with good and healthy ingredients. Also, we are experimenting with making our own ice cream. Even though I can afford the extra money to buy the pricey brands of foods, it goes against my principles and I refuse to support their larceny. And besides, I would rather eat foods I make, not something made in a factory. I’ll keep making my own.

Maybe show both a "Keto" and a "better for you" version, items like sugar(which you did here already), brown sugar, power sugar, corn starch, baking powder, baking soda. vanilla extract, garlic powder, seasonings and whatever else....you know what I mean.

You can make your own granola, and Dessi has a recipe on how to make it without an oven.

I'm screaming 😂 I've started saying "GMO" like he does with a slightly French pronunciation on the G. He didn't do it in this video tho lol

@@TheYazmanian I've been trying to figure out his accent. It's French then? I've grown up around so many French people but his accent is so unique.

Yeah, that's funny.....they had to change her name...to me she will always be Aunt Jemima.....but I don't buy the pancake mix, I make my own, and I buy Mrs. Butterworth Syrup.... waiting for Bobby to find us a good one to try.....or can make my own once I find that sugar Bobby talks about.....have to drive an hr. to the stores he visits.....I know I can order on Amazon, but I think they are expensive....but I just may order some.....
