It feels so relieving hearing you explain what I have been going through for the last 4 years. I’ve never had social anxiety, but I had a number of traumatizing events happened at once and it changed the way I interacted with people and myself. But now I understand what triggers it and where it comes from I can stop the symptoms in the tracks.

Thanks for your comment. Trauma will often do that. Hope these points will help you going forward.

Very well said, sir. This is the most profound social anxiety talk I've ever seen. I'm glad you made it through, beat it up its ass, and shared with us your experience and the solution to this suffering. Many thanks for this and all the best, Ed! 🍻

Thanks so much for the vid I find you very inspiring and it lends hope! I've never heard social anxiety being described as such a comprehensive issue but it resonates really noone else out there provides this kind of info. Out of interest when you talk about all the darkness it led to in your and your families life how do you prevent feeling sadness and victimised as I don't detect that with you? I know its the wrong mindset but its something I can struggle with when thinking of my past and present.

I was very 'emo', pessimistic, and self-pitying in the past. A lot of intensive mindset work on gratitude and optimism as well as volunteering for people who were less fortunate than me changed me a lot. Having goals, projects and vision for my life also totally changed the way I thought about things. The gym/exercise also changed me on a physiological and mental level: made me stronger mentally and physically and boosted my mood on a daily basis.

Though I would say, myself and plenty of my mates exercise a lot and we love a good pizza or burger (though it feels noticeably "gross" afterwards.)
