I took a physiology course in college and there was a section where we talked about stress and the impact it has on the body. The teacher would always say something along the lines of "There's nothing worth stressing out enough to damage yourself in this way, it's just life it's not that big of a deal"

Keep at it. I’m that person now but I spent the majority of my life as the anxious over thinker. I have truly reprogrammed my mind after a years of effort and changing my belief system. It takes a LOT to stress me out now. My last straw and motivation to break up with anxiety for good, was the implosion of some very important family relationships during the pandemic. I thought I was going to break and that the years of work were going to be undone. I stopped my nervous system cold in this process and took my power back. I wouldn’t have been able to if I hadn’t worked so hard at healing before. Don’t give up

This video came at the right time. Been feeling like things are getting harder recently but it shouldn’t have to be that way. Sure, there are bumps and potholes but it’s easier than we think. We just gotta focus and yes I agree about enjoying the process. Definitely made “____ is fun and easy. My life is fun and easy” my new mantra. People tried to tell me when I started taking golf lessons how hard it was. Tried to tell me how hard dating as a divorceé in your thirties with a kid is. How hard making money from acting is…. Yeah, no My life is easy and fun. Work/life balance is easy and fun. Golf is easy and fun. Dating is easy and fun. I love myself and I love my life. Thanks for this video.

This video came at the right time for me! - sharing for others that have the same struggle. My life is good. The bills are paid, the kids are fed and healthy, I have a job I love, a spouse I adore and he adores me, and straight A's in school that my JOB IS PAYING FOR. I grew up in poverty and with multiple sources of extreme trauma. All day long I have a knot of tension and dread in my gut. Everything is so peaceful that it is stressing me out! This is the topic of the month in therapy. How do I relax in to the peace I have worked so hard to cultivate. I will try this Mantra! I think this is the key.

The moments that got me the most: "some people stay in the suffering mindspace as they believe this is the price to pay to be successful" (paraphrasing here), also "some people stay in a suffering mindset because it excuses them of some responsibilities" - - OH GOOOOOD, I know so many people who doooo this!! So thank you ❤ so much-so much

I needed to hear this .... im dealing with my dad having severe cancer and things have been quite difficult since im the only person he has .... i have to take care of everything. He doesnt have friends or family members to support him. Already been though that with my mom tho and still been though it. Ive considered taking anti depressants just to numb the anger and pain i have. Ive never had a relationship with him, my parents divorced when i was pretty young , but i just cant bring myself to abandon him. He doesnt understand his sickness sometimes ... and life has been pretty crazy. Thanks for this , trying to be positive about it. ❤

My dad has been ill for long and today the doctor said that it might be cancer too. It has been me alone taking care of him everyday at home and staying day and night in the hospital because my sister can only visit for a short time and my father doesn't have anyone else who can watch over him aside from me. I just want to have a normal life in my productive age with experiences just like other people around my age. I want to work, I want to visit good places, hang out with friends, being in a lovely relationship, but I'm stuck. Finally I just got an offering letter and tomorrow is the beginning of the training. I'm excited about this new thing but this multi tasking is killing me.

Saying “it gets to be easy” has been the wisest thing I have been consistently doing. Thank you, God for letting me know what I desire is actually no big deal. God is infinite and the supply of divine blessings are endless! I’m completing my yoga teacher training and after a year of feeling like who am I to teach? Do I have what it takes to guide a yoga class, really? I would ruminate in fear and judgment until I decided I no longer think those thoughts. If they come I say no thanks 😊 and choose my new way of being and assume everyone is benevolent toward me and everything is working out for me because my intentions are pure. This has also caused me to get a damn backbone too! 👏🏻 Just all around feeling expansive and liberated!! IT GETS TO BE EASY.

Absolutely wonderfully explained! :) On the other hand accepting negative emotions is crucial too because that's part of being human and has a valid purpose. Love, happiness, grief, anger, sadness they all are important. We have to embrace and experience all of them to build resilience. The key is allowing them all to be there but also let them go.

Love this! I like this things can be easy mantra better than "we can do hard things" like I hear at the school I work in. I'm done with riding the struggle bus, I've been trying to embrace more ease and flow in all areas of my life. I find the negative attitudes to take over at times but I need to remember to take my focus off that. You're right there's a motivation behind those persistent negative attitudes. I need to come back to this and watch mid school year!

I know this is an older video, but I just wanna say that this helped me realize that I've been holding onto my pain and suffering, because I was hoping for people to show me some compassion for what I've been through in my life. Well, long story short, nobody ever did and so I just kept holding on to the pain. My pain wanted to be seen and as long as that didn't happen, I would just keep carrying it around with me, hoping someone would acknowledge it so I could finally release it. In the end, thanks to your video, I realized that that's what I was doing and allowed myself to let it go anyway, so I no longer have to carry that burden around with me. Maybe one day I will find people who will show me the compassion that I've been craving, but I guess that time is not now and I want my life to be easier regardless. It feels like me holding onto that pain was me holding onto the hope that people are generally good. I've always assumed everyone is like me and over the years I've learned that that's simply not true. I am highly sensitive and very empathetic and compassionate. I can't stand seeing people hurt. I always want to help and feel bad when I can't. In a way I feel sad to let go of my suffering, because that means the people around me are not really compassionate. In a weird way this feels like giving up on humanity as a whole. I know there are also good people out there, but I guess I just haven't met them yet.

Thank you for this. I was raised in a chaotic environment, so I think I have a tendency to make problems for myself. I’m trying hard to identify when I do that! (These are always internal struggles, not creating drama with other people, etc.) I quit my job a few months ago, one of the reasons is because I was over-stressing myself there. I want so much to have a regular, simple life where I go to the same job everyday and just take it easy and just do it and stick with it.

- You create the rules of your reality. (You have to believe that it is easy for you) - Is there a small part of you that loves suffering. (Take a step back and think about whether any part of you likes being stressed, sick, victim, etc.) - Life is just not that serious. (You can have fun while working towards your goals) - Whatever you are looking for, you will find. ( focus on the good and not on what is missing) - Resentment is a silent killer. And during that time, not only have I been approached to do freelance work, I'm also already in the third round of interviews at a great company. I am a minor so there’s not much that I can do but before I have called the police on her due to other circumstances from her. she took away my rights to see my father and has location tracking on my phone. whenever I see my family over the weekend she calls me 4+ times and it’s so mentally exhausting. of course there are many more things she has done to me, like making me feel like I’m the bad person, but. I’m ready to change my mindset to make things easier for myself. I’m tired of being treated like I’m not a person just because I’m a minor and I “don’t know better.” I do pray and believe in god & the universe. I have forgiven the things that she’s done to me for my mental health. Thank you for this video.

I used to say something so silly last year when I was probably in the most negative state of my life. I used to CRAVE a huge life altering experience to force myself to grow. That is just so… crazy to me right now. My life around me is so much better this year and it’s not that anything in my life has changed, it’s the way I perceive my life has changed.

That really resonates with me. I try to fight with this idea that "you have to push", that live is hard", that "job is always stressful", "you can't achieve without hard work". I am not especially successful, but I menaged to find a job, that brings me simple satisfaction, and doesn't make me feel panicked, whenever I'm about to go there. I menage to reemigrate to the country that suits me better, than my first place of emigration. And I am now starting everything over and I am learning a new language and having good time doing it. My next goal apart of not loosing my passion for life is to find a men who will be loving me. People say it's gonna be hard, as "Men thiese days ar useless", "Men only uses women for sex", "You can either have a bad boy or the borring one". There is so many wonderful men on Earth and I'm sure I'll find one.

Amazing video, Jills! This is something I hadn't ever thought about. I remember being in high school and just busting my ass to get good grades because I thought there was no other way to get them whilst deserving. I'm slowly unlearning this in college, and this video helped me bring awareness to it. Perfect timing, indeed ! Lots of love❤❤❤❤

It is very easy to just relax and let everyone do the work for you. But if that was the case, they wouldn’t be female scientist, doctors, astronauts. Life is mean to be a challenge. It is the attitude that makes the difference.
