The video idea process is NOT one size fits all. The process shouldn't be the same if you've barely started your channel, or have been doing it for years.

Project 24 is our membership program that teaches you how to work toward replacing your current income with income from KZbin channels and websites in 24 months.
Project 24 is a product of Income School LLC. Results mentioned are not typical. The trademark “Project 24” refers to the goal of some people to create a successful business in 24 months, but is not a promise or guarantee of that success. Many online businesses fail because, like any business, it requires hard work, skill, and dedication. Before making business decisions, consult financial and legal professionals licensed in your jurisdiction.

THANK YOU for refuting the "make 100 bad videos" thing! I only want to make a video if I think it has something good in it. I don't claim that this is ideal, but here's roughly my process so far: - My first 7 videos: figuring out a format & technical process that work for me - Next 10: Improving the presentation (narrative, scripting, editing) - Current phase (12 so far): Generally raising quality while broadening the topic

I think the tip for your first 10 videos is really helpful. It took me a little over 10 videos before I realized what I was going to pursue and what I wanted to change. The concept of combining good marketing with helpful content is great advice as well!

I discovered just how complicated my niche was this year, after the 100 videos lol, i still suck at editing but my content delivery has improved a great amount and by the end of this year I'm hopeful my channel would have kicked off a great one 😊

Music Producer/Content Creator, Kenny Beats has a slogan I live by everyday. DOTS. Don't OverThink Sh*t. Sometimes it is that simple (but everything ever is also a catch 22 so be careful but confident), Thanks for the advice :) Just found this channel, very useful stuff!

I connected with the advice about deciding to do a video just for fun. The day before International Women's Day, my Davinci Resolve program crashed and lost all my videos! (It's okay - I have backups). It was a bummer for my schedule, but I just decided, hey, when was the last time I ever just did something nice for myself, so I went and did a fabric art sewing project I really wanted to do - bleach dying on denim. I shared that with my community and that I'd also share the process with them in my next video. I got quite a number of nice comments from followers that said, "good for you!" I ended up celebrating IWD by rewarding myself-sometimes you say to heck with the schedule and just seize the moment!

I'm definitely an over analyser 😊 I analyse after every video and find the one thing I love and one thing I hated. With how loud and chaotic my home is, I need to plan out everything before filming. But I try to be as authentic as I can.

Do you guys know what would make my shorts RPM go up from $0.06 to $0.18? If it’s something I did, I’d love to know😉😉

After 75 videos, I feel my most recent videos definitely have improved from first 10-20 videos. I admit I have a long way to go to get where I need to be. Definitely appreciate the subscribers I have for sticking with me.

Another awesome video and I am not sure if I am an overthinker or under-thinker. Hopefully I am learning from every video or short uploaded. Asking my viewers/subscribers what they want to see on my channel (doesn't always lead to what I want to do but if they are going to get me new viewers and subscribers I will do it). Love 🥰 the video and love 💕 Channel Makers.

I have been scrapping ideas lately, but it's because I have tried them repeatedly and they have failed over and over. I'm always branching out and trying new things, with limited success. Usually they fall flat. There's one topic that I do (which is always about the latest model year information) that blows up every time, and it doesn't even seem to make a difference how much work I put into it. I recorded one video in 15 mins, edited in 2 hours, and got 31k views. I can't even touch that one with any of my other videos. Sometimes I struggle to break 300 views with other content. I can't just do video after video about the new model year, it's usually just a once a year thing. Getting frustrated filling the gaps for the rest of the year.

In the past I scrapped ideas because there just wasn't enough information available to make a long-form video. When shorts became a thing, those ideas then became shorts. Problem solved! Fortunately, I have a list of at least 20 videos I'd like to make at any one time.

Do you classify doing a lot of shorts the same as doing a lot of videos? Do you think a person would a 500 shorts will be considered the same as personal 500 videos?

My early videos were seriously naff. Should I delete them? Will they affect watch time. I am currently re-editing my videos on educational content eg splicing rope (sailing channel)

If I remake those bad videos now (3 years later), should I remove the old video when I post the new one? or just leave them both up but give the new one a slightly different title?

I have questions. My KZbin channel for almost one year, has 72 videos and almost has 3k watch hours. I need about 300 hours to go this month. Should I keep creating new contents or campaign by getting more new fans?

I experienced a spike from 80 to 1000 subs in a week with a viral video, but then my growth and views dwindled to just 4 subs a day. Determined to replicate that success, I meticulously analyzed my hit video (currently at nearly 190K views) in Davinci, breaking it down sentence by sentence, transition by transition, and matching the pacing. By applying this formula to my next video. If you don't have a formula, don't worry you will get there!

Good video thank you but I have to disagree. When I started 4-5 years ago I made a video about everything that I was doing, Then I found out what my viewers like and that did put me in my niche. Now I do just repair video's and my viewers like it. What I'm trying to say. Let the viewers tell you what you are good at. Last words, there is no wrong or right way to do KZbin.
