Project 24 is our membership program that teaches you how to work toward replacing your current income with income from KZbin channels and websites in 24 months.
Project 24 is a product of Income School LLC. Results mentioned are not typical. The trademark “Project 24” refers to the goal of some people to create a successful business in 24 months, but is not a promise or guarantee of that success. Many online businesses fail because, like any business, it requires hard work, skill, and dedication. Before making business decisions, consult financial and legal professionals licensed in your jurisdiction.

The best advice I ever got about making KZbin videos is to get out of the way of the content. A lot of times we let our egos dictate how things should go along with other less important things but the main important point is the viewer and the content making that connection

Thank you for sharing your mic trouble story! We've been posting film reviews on our KZbin channel and podcast for over five years now, but every once in a while there's some little setting that's off, some tiny pop or crackle in the audio, and it's frustrating to feel like you're starting from square one trying to figure it all out again. Appreciate your advice! -- Christy

I made a couple of awesome videos! Best ever! And then I found out they had no sound because i had just uploaded a new app and for some reason my sound input was automatically switched from my microphone to the new app. 😭 Always check your settings before you film.....

I spent an hour working on my second video and realized that my microphone hadn't been connected to my laptop so I had to remake it.

Nice video.For me it was that 12 years ago I was going to film a locomotive with an awesome engine sound that made me want to improve my sound with an external microphone. But I noticed right away that there was a huge difference in all my videos. However, the microphone did not withstand rain and snow very well. So I've learned later to have a better one for sunnier days but the cheap Rode Videomicro for snow storms etc ;) And have been running 4K videos since 2015 Even in snowstorms thanks to Panasonic's relatively cheap bridge cameras with external microphone on. But of course everything has been a big developmental step. from posting raw videos for the first 3 months to only running windows movie maker for several years. before switching to real programs etc. :)

Thank you for this video. I just found and subscribed to you guys because you genuinely seem to want to help other creators. Will be going back to older videos for more help and to get caught up. I also like that your videos are for help and growth and not some of the all to common, "If You Do This You Will Get 10,000 Subs". Those are only out for their own growth, where you guys have some really great and well thought out ideas.

I don’t normally comment on music, but the soundtrack is a little overpowering in the first minute when viewed on a phone. Otherwise, great video.

Storytelling and vibe are things i feel im pretty on top of, and i try to improve one new thing on each new video. The hardest part is finding the right camera, lighting and microphone set up. I've tested several different sets of tools and its an ongoing journey for me.

Video Editing is too low 👎👎👎👎 Edit the video in a good style. Add nice b-roll animation when you are speaking or explaining something. This will increase visualization. Put proper subtitles, effects, transitions, and colors in the video. Insert the B-Roll (footage and animation) very well because it is absolutely low in your video. Do all this and then see how the video doesn't turn out good. 🍂

If I had a nickel for every time I re-recorded bad audio... 😅 For the end question: Honestly, if you aren't having fun making YT videos, I would ask why you're doing it at all. Most YT creators never get big enough to earn meaningful income from it. You have to have something driving you. Maybe for some folks that's a business, or a message, or something else, but for hobby creators the fun is the best motivator!

I found that making the money from the videos, somehow took out a lot of the fun. I can't explain it, you'd think it should be the opposite.
@denalidtx
@denalidtx 2 ай бұрын
@@CameTo I've heard creators talk about this before. They start making money from content, and now there's stress due to the risk of losing that income. So they keep grinding and feeding the beast, but it's no longer a fun extracurricular. Don't get me wrong - for some things, money is a valid motivator! It's better to have a job you hate than no job at all! But for those of us who create as a hobby, there's no reason to continue if it isn't enjoyable.

@@denalidtx it's also when I see other channels doing "dirty tactics" - and I think "it's immoral, so I won't" and then I'm thinking "this is uphill"

@@CameTo What sort of tactics do you mean?
@CameTo
@CameTo 2 ай бұрын
@@denalidtx I'm going to list the safer responses. for example, pulling the exaggerated "shocked face". Using the term "game changer" when describing a relatively minor update/change to something. There's taking/promoting questionable sponsorships. While some audience members do question them, the majority of responses go like "just skip them, nobody forces you to watch" etc. And finally, the last one is promoting certain official narratives. Something that's offered to celebs and larger creators. Thankfully some have the moral standards to say no, but most take the money. Some of the things said or done are very subtle. I'm being deliberately vague here, but occasionally these people have made short clips, discussing the fact they were offered (or are being paid) to do or say certain things. I know different people gonna have different morals to each other, and some will sleep just fine no matter what, just like real life, offline!
