I enjoy collecting Blurays but I will admit that I prefer to put them on my Plex server to use as my own internal “Netflix”. Mostly because I can never decide what I want to watch. Having my own collection of movies and TV shows is definitely preferable to a streaming service. And if I have no internet, I can still enjoy my personal media.

Great points made. Just a few years ago, I was catching some guff over buying Blu-ray movies... One of those same people had purchased some digital content through Playstation, only to have Sony take it down. No refund. No explanation. No more access to the content they paid for. If Sony can decide that the content you paid for isn't really yours, what does that say for all digital content?
