This video was so helpful I can barely put it into words. Over time, I tend to lapse back into casting tendencies without realizing it. Creating the extension and releasing near impact just brought my swing immediately back into shape. Sometimes I just need to see it and you did an outstanding job with the visual explanation. It’s just done the exact same for me. I. Terms of being able now to visualise it and perform the correct alignment at the right time . I have battled so hard with this in my game. I’ve 4 days until o get on the course but I have saved this video so a can watch back many times before I play . I will report back after my round and let you know how I got on. !

I honestly never thought this would work. I was constantly topping the hell out of the ball with my driver. Had no idea why or how I was doing this. Tried this and crushed the ball. I said WTF, this actually worked. Amazing, thank you so much!

Any tips for if your issue with tops and thin striking is not releasing the hands? I tend to hold the lag way, way too long and hit low runners. My coach has me doing a drill where I put a headcover 6-8" beyond the teed up ball and try to hit the ball but not the headcover. I haven't gotten the best results yet from it though.

Key point I believe which you need to mention is why people topping their shots has to do with people not bending their back leg. I know for myself when I top the ball it all started with me either not bending my back leg or standing up on my back leg. Once I learned this from both Clay and Chuck, I really stopped topping the ball and I was able to focus on maintaining lag and working on becoming a better ball striker. Peter Crocitto

My issue is when hitting my drive I'm still falling backward, my practice swing looks great but it's totally different in the execution of the swing, so I'm upper body swinger for sure, so I've been working very hard on your drills to get ridge of this motion but without success. So my body and arms are out of synch which I believe is causing this issue. I also believe by me not getting to the proper finished position it's causing me to hook and when I hit it straight I'm losing distance maybe up to 20 to 30 years. Thoughts?
