I don't even spend that much more sice I started raw feeding. Especially with my cat who was on a stuvite-diet, wet food (Royal canin), for him raw is cheaper 😅. But even if it wasn't I would still feed them raw. All 3 my cat's are so much healthier now!

In my quest to know what I'm starting on, I've just looked into the costs for me as inspired by this video ❤ I looked into complete and balanced raw grinds, which I've found recently. For both cats for their full daily allowance of food, their current high quality wet food (the cheapest variant we feed) comes down to €1.86 a day. While the cheapest grind I looked at would be €0.85 a day. That's a full euro less! Safe to say that helps with convincing 😂

Yes!! I'm glad you did the maths to figure it out! Hoping more people are inspired like you ♥️

Jess, I’ve been feeding my two cats using the meat grinds from Hare Today and mixing with the Alnutrin mix. It’s definitely starting to add up. I am spending anywhere from $100 to $120 per month to feed the two of them at 1.6 oz per meal, three meals a day consisting of a rotation of chicken, duck, turkey, and rabbit. Is there a way to do this more cheaply than I’ve been doing? What I don’t understand in your video is you talked about pre mixes but very little about what we’re actually supposed to be mixing it in. What kinds of meat? Where to find them? How to make sure the meat you find doesn’t contain any flavorings or seasonings? Even the cheapest meat grind at Hare today costs almost $30 per week to feed my two cats. I keep hearing you say it doesn’t have to be expensive but I’m over here shelling out hundreds and I’m confused if there’s a way I could be doing this more economically. Thanks Jess!

I feed two dogs and two cats Raw for about $150 a month. I do it by buying 5 pound chubs of a ground mix of meat, bones and organs. It is roughly an 80, 1010 mix, 80% meat, 10% bone, 10% organs. A little more sometimes a little less sometimes but that's the basic ratio to start with. And I feed that to the cats. I add a few vegetables for the dogs. That's it. Buy in bulk, you can buy the same thing for dogs that you can for cats because the minute the label it cat the auto radically jacked the price up just like they do with canned or kibble dog and cat food. Cats need meat, bone an organ, no veggies nothing else.

Is the Know Better meant to be used with boneless meat or with bones?

Jess, with TC Feline with Liver, it says it contains Vitamin E. Would it be beneficial to also add Omega-3 supplement as in Salmon Oil? Or would the Krill be enough?

Please follow the instructions on the bag. Each premix has its own recipe.

It's expensive people don't feel bad if you don't have the money. I love how these people will give you expensive options but more healthy. We try our best with our cats but give cheaper options

I have four cats. When I started she was one, but soon had a liter of 8. The vet phone good homes for four of them. One died, I I kept the rest along with Mama I started feeding the commercial friskies and whiskers cat food but the liter box stink was more than I could take and I knew it had to be what I was feeding them. I moved to more premium commercial foods that I can get at Petco even going as far as Rachael Ray's but the dry food and wet food mix even without meat by-products still did not seem to be feeding my cats appropriately a whole lot of hairballs a lot of fur falling out. Now since moving to a raw food diet starting with the freeze dried raw and now frozen raw I've seen a noticeable improvement in my cats fur stools and they even seem to use the litter box less smaller turds smaller balls of urine although more frequent I guess because I cleaned the box twice a day once in the morning and once in the evening after feeding them. Got to say this lady is correct when it comes to feeding and taking care of your cats.

You can buy dead frozen mice... I wouldn't feed my cat anything raw. Canned good quality food, NOT DRY FOOD!, is best. It's meat. They eat mice, some do give their cats mice, which they keep in the freezer. As long as its not dry food, which is like poison to cats, I am alright with giving them canned.
@jesscaticles2 жыл бұрын
Whole prey is probably the most expensive unless your cat roams out in the wild. It seems that this is the first video of mine that you've watched. I've covered the dangers of dry food extensively here. But thank you for your input (:

@@jesscaticles Yes it is.

Do you think the mice are cooked once they are dead? Bc if you feed a cat a frozen mouse, you are in fact feeding them raw (as you should)
