I had a California Special... Acapulco Blue with a white vinyl top, turquoise interior. LOVED that car. Had to sell it to pay for the divorce. The car was more reliable and handsome than the man. 20 years later I still miss her.

OMG - I had a '68 Mustang when I was young. Just a plain old coupe, but I did love that car. Our neighbor had a '67 in that color. It's an original color, and any Mustang collector will love it, even if it has to "grow" on you. My heart is aflutter with nostalgia.

My first car was a 1971 Ford Maverick…white with oxblood top. It had the largest V8 engine they could fit in it, and was a dream of a car to drive. I miss that car to this day, and will likely never find an equal for her.🖤🇨🇦

I'm the author and expert of the 1968 GT/CS, and yes, Ford did send a handful of GT/CS Mustangs up to B.C. and Alberta (DSO B6, B7) when CA sales waned in May through July. 4118 total made, which includes 251 High Country Specials in CO. I owned one for 35 years and put 400K miles on it. I also did the histories of Little Red and Green Hornet; found here on YT as Barrett Jackson documentaries. The quarter windows are a bear to fix! LOL. Nice car! If it's a C code, it got plain hubcaps. GT caps for 302 J Code, 390 or 428CJ. Same pop off gas caps for all engine types. Thanks for posting this video!

I had a 67 coupe in the 80's , not fancy but fun. Almost identical interior save the non safety 67 steering wheel, which looked better but was a spear i guess if you wrecked... Brings it back. 289, no air, no power steering, just mash and turn ! Wonderful car, you did very well selling the bus for a 4k production car with it's heritage.

I love my Mustang convertible. I bought it new in 1999 and it's the 50th anniversary special. It has never spent a night outside, always been protected in my garage. It still looks like brand new and only has 145,000 miles on it. The mechanics at the oil change shop are always trying to buy it from me. Not to bad for a 23 year old car!

Janice, 12 years ago we bought our then 15 yo daughter a 1999 Mustang convertible. It had been owned by an adult and was in great shape with only around 85, 0000. She drove it for 5 years and passed it down to her brother. Both kids are now grown and have newer vehicles, but we kept the Mustang for our fun car. It’s still in great shape, all original, and only 133,000 miles. And like you, people offer to buy it, but I’m not ready to let it go yet!

That's a really nice GT/CS, and that Seafoam Green is actually a great colour for one of these. Those little paint chips, if you have patience you can slowly build up the layers until the paint is slightly above the surface it should be, then wet send down just the small repair with 1500g, then 2000g, then a compound then polish, I have done that alot, just about can't see the repair, it's better than trying to match in a small area. But you need patience, about 3 days and just seand the repair so you need a small piece of sandpaper on an ear bud or something. Enjoy !

I think my sisters was worth about 8-12000 when she finally sold it. It was similar green & black - had the fake black textured paint on the top that made it look like a convertible, but I think she eventually painted it all one color. The boyfriend that got her into it had a burgundy one with white striping. They do have a bit of a rumbly bumpy ride & I think she said the steering was a bit sloppy, which made her a bit nervous on the freeway. I always liked the sequenced turn signals on the back. I saw the video about the original turning up, that was so cool!

I began my senior year in September of 1967. I would love to go back in time with what I know now! Just love your videos and have been watching you since the Potter House!
