Hey you, I really like your videos about the super 73 ZX. I hope you can help me with a little problem I live in the netherlands and the EU model doesnt come with a Chain guard, could you Maybe reply and put a link where I can buy one. Greetings from Holland!!

Congrats on your ZX. Interesting it doesn't. I don't know where you could get one, to be honest. I almost like the bikes w/o the chain guard, to be honest. Thanks for checking in though.

I wrap mine up in a blanky and put little lithy in a cot for the long winter sleep, snug and warm 😂

What is really needed is safe discharge device that has voltage reading auto shutoff when the battery gets tp desired voltage.

Hey Tim, silly question but how many max miles can the ZX go if you conserve throttle for example mode 1 PAS 1-4? Mostly in PAS 1 &2? From stock 🔋 battery? I’m looking to do a 50 mile ride and only have a stock battery

You would need to do a lot of pedal assist, but I'd say it's doable. Bring your charger just in case... Or better yet, grab a Super Fast Charger from ChiBatterySystems and get 5% off with code SESSIONS73. See what I did there?

Great video! Is there a way to get the battery down without riding outside? Here in Indiana closer to the great lakes and I'm pretty sure the wind chill would kill me if I rode the miles needed to get it down to 50%. Always enjoy the videos. Keep up the good work! I have an RX...don't know if that makes any difference.

And a Chi battery as well.
@SESSIONS733 жыл бұрын
The only way I can think of is to prop that back tire a bit and run the throttle. Even if you get it down around 80% I bet you’ll be good.

@@SESSIONS73 Thank you! I'll have to careful it does take off in my house. Yikes!

@@VijaGamez I have a solar generator and bought an adapter online so I can just dump the stored energy in my ebike better into my power station that way I can use it for something else. I don't like the idea of just running the motor like that because it counts towards the odometer which can't be reset and it would take a while otherwise because it's spinning without any resistance.

how long should you leave it at 50% before you charge it? one or two months ok?
@SESSIONS733 жыл бұрын
I think it would be fine for a few months if it’s only discharging a few percent a month.

Is 45 percent to low to store battery ? I'm not gonna ride again til March
@SESSIONS732 жыл бұрын
I am sure you'll be fine. Could throw it on the charger for a half hour if you think it's too low.

curious if there's any way to check the battery level independent of mounting it to the bike... especially if I'm gonna store the bike under a cover, etc. for the winter.
@SESSIONS733 жыл бұрын
I’ve wondered that too. The ZX has an indicator light, but the S2 and R series dont
@Hoggdoc19462 жыл бұрын
Sure carefully use a volt/ohm meter connected to the output of the battery at it's connector.

Cool vid man! I'm definitely thinking of getting an S2. Just wondering if it's ok to store the bike itself outdoors like that, maybe under a bike cover during the cold months? Then I would just take the battery indoors where it's warmer.
@SESSIONS733 жыл бұрын
I would definitely get a tarp. I am able to put mine in a shed, but it’s definitely not heated.
@jacob_pascua3 жыл бұрын
personally i think it’s best just to bring the bike inside, i have a zx and i br8ng it indoors to stay at room temp
@Mikeyteves13 жыл бұрын
@@jacob_pascua I really wish, as its a lot safer too. Only problem is I live on the 1st floor and it's quite a ways up to be carrying the s2 on a daily basis.
