You missed two very important details. First one is that the Universe is trying to kill her therefore this is not a normal radiation poisoning. Extremely important detail. And the second one was the misleading that she was chosen as Eternity's avatar when this is NOT the case. Another extremely important detail. Eternity will be Storm and Storm will be Eternity. They will be the same thing, one being. Just like Jean and Phoenix are one. Authors words BTW.

I believe that I. The two comics she has yet to become The eternal storm, I think that page was a Vision of what’s to come but they are telling the story backwards, showing us her at her Max and then the story of her being ill and coming to terms with death only to become an eternal being. Once she fully taps into those power which I think she has yet to she will cure herself and become the embodiment of eternity

I think at this stage Eternity has only found her worthy and hasn't fully recognized her yet or is still testing her, there for with out any actually training Storm has no idea exactly what he's done to her , even Jean in order to use the phoenix as a beginner only unlocked phoenix in rage so there cant be much difference with her and eternity

Does everyone remember that in the past ,storm hold Eternally inside her own body? I can't remember what for or why!!😏 But I think that the Cosmic enity was weak or something !?🤔 Anyway storm is very powerful in her own right, especially she can also use powerful magic & spells. Anyway making storm some how to be dying by some poisoning or radiation is a little bit controversial sense storm can also manipulate some degree within her own body , humans & mutants alike biological organisms. And her own body temperature isn't the same as normal humans & mutants body temperature. Now I'm not saying that storm is immune to poison 🤔🤷‍♂️. I am saying it's not easy Well anyway I guess we all will find out what is going on with storm.

Someone pointed out that it's due to the Universe trying to kill her. So the poisoning is not a regular type. Being that it's also rapidly affecting her cells. Hence why she has to see Brother Voodoo

The thing with Storm is that is cant get cancer she can literally fry her cancer cells with electricity so it should only be a matter of time before the radiation leaves her, although it seems she took on too much radiation that will yes kill her before she even gets cancer

@keepinitcomic My Brotha truth be told that’s where things get iffy for me on when she knew. I’d say she knew when she had to use that steel door as a shield. To reach the kid creating that radiation. I wish she had worn her various x-men unstable molecules uniforms that do protect from that as shown in marvel comics lore , but she chose to help in normal clothing. Hower seeing that her face would have been exposed it might be a moot point since She’s nearly always exposed her or skin some how compared to others minus pre warning. My point is at the point when she knew was the time she was trying to reach and get the kid to calm down. As as that happened and she had the kid sent off for both mental health and training help. At that same time she should have went straight for medical attention instead of walking around for weeks speaking to iron at the incident site and later finding out via coffin up blood on mission weeks later. Again it was made clear she knew when she used that steel door as a shield. It the sad fact of the story and if your smart enough to do that your smart enough to see doctors immediately. No excuses. Also the podium can wait. I love her being shown as a strong leader ,but her health comes first too especially when it’s a some what“slow suffering style illness.“”Or have her speech done via video screen or holographic technology to the public since she has access to it.

It was actually ice. She used Ice to slow the flow of the blood and get it to stop. It was a little hard to tell but the writer clarified on a black comics lord interview. This is why we see her breath as well.

@@mrblaque .....Yes she can. Just because it doesn't harm her doesn't mean she can't use it to aid her if necessary. That's like saying her skin won't get wet in the rain. She can use her powers in ways that can affect her if she CHOSE to. She's naturally protected from temperature shifts, but she could stop that if she wanted to so she could achieve the desire effect like in this case.
