I have to say this was the funniest ball review I've seen but also the most informative. As a left handed bowler I'm happy to see more reviews of equipment thrown by left handers. All three of you did a great job telling where you were looking and aiming for down lane which helps me understand the angle your playing. Awesome stuff and I look forward to more reviews. Also AVB needs some shots in there too!

Question for Kyle. Which red tape do you have on your thumb and how many pieces?

SOOOO MANY PIECES 🤣. A little back story: I was having A LOT of trouble releasing the ball so I tried some thumb tape; in this case Genesis. I started with one, then two, then ultimately wrapped my whole thumb 🤦🏻‍♂️. I have just recently change my span and pitches and doing much better. I am now using zero tape on my thumb.

Does the ion pro fit in the same bag as the lightning blackout for house shot league play? Can the lightning be used all 3 games or better to start with something else?

The Ion Pro is a Hybrid Asym and the Lightning Blackout is a pearl symmetrical. Therefore the Ion pro will tend to read earlier and be better on fresh/“more oiled” lanes. The blackout would be better once the lanes breakdown or you bowl at a “dryer” center.

Wouldn’t hurt! But there’s plenty of equipment out there that will compliment just fine.
