She is famous actually. She is storm large, the backup singer of the world famous band "Pink Martini", that became more popular than the original singer China Forbes. She is one of the best female vocalists that I have ever had a chance to hear alive in concert. Besides that she is so charismatic, beautiful, interesting and sexy.

20+ years ago I was in PDX driving home from work down West Burnside and decided to stop in at Dante's for a beer. I walked in and Storm was crawling across the stage with a chef's knife, singing the best version of "Hopelessly Devoted" (ONJ) I have ever heard. It was creepy, sensual, and raw. Punk rock lounge music at its best. When I finally looked around at the ground EVERYONE was captivated and unable to look away. I immediately bought her CD "Storm Hanging with the Balls". It's still one of may favorite albums. She should 100% be a superstar!

She insisted on signing it with a nice personal F-bomb and it still gives me a chuckle when I wear it. Sometimes we all need to understand that certain performers take different paths in their careers. Storm Large has made her name known worldwide. Her fan base is huge and the AGT experience was just a great example of how she could expand her fan base even further. Going from her incredible rock talent, her years with Pink Martini, her wild and fun performances on intimate stages and her incredible ability to sing with great orchestras, her raw talent just goes on and on . I followed her well before she auditioned on AGT, and I 😮was surprised she chose that show. Just as anticipated , in my opinion, her audition may have been one of the best ever I’ve seen. I’ve seen comments that stated “I never understood why she never took off”. Well she was doing well before the show and continues to take off. It’s what called fan loyalty and why this incredible woman’s fans adore her. I’ve posted before, the other Portland on the East coast of Maine would love to have her discover our appreciation for her talent.

Her book is also a very interesting read, being about overcoming mental illness (I should have had it signed when I had the chance). Hope she does well here. Saw her perform in Regina, SK Canada probably about a year after she was on Rockstar Supernova. Purchased her CD "Ladylike Side One" which she graciously signed for me. She put on an amazing performance.
