People just don't know. I didn't know until a few years ago. A guy I worked with had a lease and he talked about how ruthless, smart, fast, and huge those hogs are. He said he's ended a few only to find several bullets already lodged from previous attempts - apparently they've got something of a natural shield in the chest area between the front two legs. He said they basically never stop growing and they breed like rabbits.

To be honest watching the short i'd tell the same thing... whole magazine and mostly misses. Watching the whole video in full screen i'm sure as hell that this is some pretty accurate shooting. More resolution means you see the difference between a hit on a boar and a miss into the dirt. Also target and shooter are in fast motion. I had trouble firing on a stationary target at 50 yards - but i'm german and most of us will never have a gun in their hand in their lifetime.

Yes the first shots are "easy" And yes I thought you were hitting more hogs more than usual 1 time. I am not surprised the problem is ammo.lol I also think your 8 yr. old son is doing better than I would. Most amazing to me? Many? people dont think hogs are a problem.I am sure these same people will call for better birth control - Maybe you can volunteer them to go into the field and put condoms on hogs?
