You know, imagine if one of those villains would actually refusing to let Linkara reviewing a comic as he would try his best to do a review but said villain kept interrupting it, which would probably drive Linkara crazy, more or less. It would be interesting to see Linkara try to both defeat a opponent and do a review at the same time, which would be heck to him. Heck, do you think Linkara ever made something like this if it would ever happens, like maybe having one of his friends to do the review, like Harvey Finevoice, 90s Dude and Iron Liz did years before, maybe we could see Pollo do an actual full-on review, as well. That's would've been very interesting to see.

One thing about the King of Worms that's kinda vague is why he couldn't command Pollo or Nimue or the like, but could take control of the cybermats and Zira. We're given a couple of lines about how they had updated software, but that was about it. My headcanon is tied into his line at 54:09: he commands all machines made to "serve beneath single-form consciousness". Pollo and Nimue were built as true AI, with minds and wills of their own; they don't serve Linkara as slaves, they work WITH him as comrades-in-arms. Zira was originally like that but was heavily reprogrammed by Jaeris after he went mad and tried to kill him. The King can only command Servants; he cannot command free men. I dunno if Linkara meant for it to come across that way given that he also throws in lines about upgraded hard/software, but it seems like it's the case, and I like it. EDIT: Also, worm is a synonym for coward, as well as being weird and creepy-crawly on their own. That makes me snicker.

The upgraded software was meant to be the explanation (hence also why they were able to get a cybermat working for them later - not all the cybermats had been upgraded at the time), but your explanation is frankly better and I like it more, so we're going to go with that. =) Otherwise, yep - the King of Worms' name was meant to be multi-layered like that. The idea was that worms are a "lowly" form of life, crawling and beneath other things, thus he was king amongst the lowest. It in turn tied into the idea that the King is actually a human who ascended to Godhood - the weakest among the Technumina are still THAT powerful.

I figured the Cybermat was okay because the King needed to actively exert his will to take control of machines (See Zira tracing the King's signals one moment to serving him the next) and was focused on Linkara at that moment. Or maybe Pollo extended his consciousness into the 'mat. Or maybe it's the Plot Hole, I dunno, it just seemed off to me that the KoW could be so powerful but also be beaten by a Windows update.

How it reveals the true self to those who look upon it, and given how when the King looked within Linkara, it showed Lewis behind the camera laughing maniacally along with the Entity possessed 90s Kid, the reflection in the mask seems fitting, very Lovecraftian.

90s Kid's loyalty has always been with Linkara. Given that Linkara trusts him enough to be Comicron-1's chief mechanic AND one of the people in his life to keep him from going evil, 90s Kid's "betrayal" makes sense considering what he saw in the future. He wants to keep his promise to Linkara by freeing him from The Entity and stopping him from going too far.

Ah The King of Worms. A villain who I would love to have seen been given more of an ambiguous psychological take on his character given the rather small taste we got before his death. I mean this would've been perfect for another Silent Hill esque Hallucination tale where we see the King attempt to dig deeply into the characters psyches. That being said however the one time we did see it with the King finding the Entity hiding out in Linkara was excellently sequenced as we saw Lewis (The Creator), Harvey, Jaeris, Vyce, Linkara, The 90s Kid possessed Entity just laughing in mockery of the King of Worms. If there's one thing I love about the concept of the Outer Gods in AT4W its the dynamic we see between the Outer Gods and they perceive things compared to us. The way in which their egos look at us as smaller than ants in their eyes until they come across an oddity or hold some sort of personal business against Linkara. I am hoping we can see the return of the King of Worms at some stage but if this is all we're getting of him, then I do hope that we can see something reminiscent of his power used to illicit fear in the same way that the King could. On another note I'm really gonna miss Sierra and PoIIo's banter. Especially since PoIIo's new voice came in after Sierra and Jaeris left. Out of all the arcs I'd still say that this one is up there in my favorites right behind 'A Piece of The World is Missing' arc and the 'Gun and Sorcery' Arc

I think there's a big difference in motives compared to the King of Worms vs the Outer Gods that have been described to us from both the King himself and the Absent Grimoir. The King seemed more preoccupied in dissecting humanity and organic beings to discover fear whereas to any other Outer God it saw them as little more than a grain of sand. While the nature of Outer Gods seem to differ from being to being (from what I can tell given how legends collected by Vyce and the stories told by the Absent Grimoir seem to elude to) I can imagine that the fascination is likely varied depending upon what they find interest in regarding those smaller than they are. Much like how The King was fixated on restoring his fearless face or how The Entity was driven to play games with Linkara to prolong its existence as a desperate attempt to stave off the fact that it could find no answer to the question its greater whole pondered. Back onto the King itself, even if it was closer to understanding humanity, there's no denying that its power had endowed him with something of an ego given his boasting of being a King of Clockwork.

What i like about this story arc is how it sets up plot elements for future storylines: Spoilers: Vyce returning in Sleepwalker along side the Entity Mirror Linkara and Mechakara returning again in The Clone Saga which also ties events from AT4W the movie The Contest of champions being mentioned here and then taking place in the 10th story line and you know with Storyline 10 aside, I noticed a pattern where some of these stories have 2 antagonists

This is a subtle bit I guess, but Jaeris's obvious discomfort with Linkara's physical touch alliance-language as it were (refusing the handshake at the end of Guns and Sorcery, the discomfort with his shoulder pats through his story arc) leading to initiating the hug here was very well done! I really enjoyed that natural progression and it's a great character building moment. I do wish Linkara had offered Christmas Karaoke or even christmas caroling instead of just insisting that he attend the party. It feels like it would have been more of interest to Jaeris and honored his complicated emotions more, rather than basically becoming a guilt trip about making people (especially Linkara) happy. I'll freely admit I could have missed a social cue, but it definitely just felt like Linkara steamrolling Jaeris's emotions.

I have a question. Why is Lord Vice's helmet on your shelf? (outside of it being a costume) In continuity did you go back and collect his helmet?

Lets be honest here, when you find out that Lord Vyce abandoned his human form for a Data Form and his badass armor is left out there, I'd probably go back and claim it for myself. Then I could use his armor to CONQUER THE WORLD!!!
