Dutch is an absolute great storyteller with deep insight into the Old World and New World of wrestling. This is just what real wrestling fans want to hear !

The idea of the Bucks going up against Brody & Hansen cracked me up... Hell, damn few of today's wrestlers-maybe wrestlers from any era-could stand up to them...

I would pay real money to see the Bucks in a match with 70s Hanson & Brody. Make it a cage match while you're at it.

The 75 with I-4 intersection is known as "Malfunction Junction". If you don't drive by there on a regular basis, slow down and figure out the lane you should be in. Mantell is right on the money here.

Some of the top bladers included Flair, Tommy Rich, Dusty, the Sheik, and Abdullah. Bobby Heenan was a big time blader in the 70s. It's funny this topic came up. I just watched a video a few days ago of Dutch versus Abdullah in Puerto Rico where Dutch got some color.

A lot of wrestlers went way to far with blading there foreheads are so ripped up it looks like someone took a knife or ice skates and went insane on them a lot of there foreheads is just tender scare tissue your body can only heal so much. Abdullah the Butcher his scare's you can literally fit Casino coins in the groves there so wide an deep. But not all cuts on wrestlers fore heads are from blading. I'm surprised Eddie survived that match against Brad Shaw when Brad Shaw hit him on the head with a chair I never saw anyone bleed out that much that match should have been stopped it was to much. You have to do it right because if you hit the one or two of the main vein's on your forehead your in trouble. But blading became to mainstream it took the shock value out of it. It became who could get more bloody.

Wrestling matches look better when the boys gig themselves.
@somebodysthrowaway2 жыл бұрын
"Gigging" should be used sparingly. If everyone was blading all the time, you would get bored of it. When someone gets color, it should be a holy shit moment. Nobody bleeds all the time in boxing or MMA so why do they need to bleed in wrestling. Only time someone should get color is to portray a brutal hit or to make it look like they bled "the hard way" the call it that because it's hard to get color naturally. (A weapon, a hard hit from a multiple hard punches or forearms. If you want it real, you'll see more busted lips, or noses and black eyes. Wrestling needs better in-ring stories than gratuitous color and carney spots.
