how does this actually wear, is it comfortable? I'm not too worried about the lug to lug, but I've seen other reviewers mention it was a bit uncomfortable to wear. any thoughts?

Mine was just fine. Maybe it's uncomfortable for specific wrist sizes, did they mention their wrist size at all?

@@KillingTimeWithNorman I suppose so yeah, he didn't mention his wrist size but it was a Japanese guy so I suppose his wrist was relatively small

Hey Norman, how do you compare it with Nomos Tangente? Which one do you like most? Thanks for video, cheers.
@KillingTimeWithNorman8 ай бұрын
I've never seen a Tangente i person. I know the Tangente has a sort of in house movement and less Arabics. I did have an Orion and the Antea and the Antea, though 1/2 the price seemed like it was in the same price range as the Orion. 🍸🍸

@@KillingTimeWithNormanthanks for the response, even tough everyone says nomos is that good, i find stowa history and design to be much nicer

Wow hats off to Stowa for their presentation,Gorgous watch of course and that movement I could look at for hrs .

Yeah - They really made unboxing an experience! And I totally agree, the 7001 is absolutely amazing!

A lovely watch from Stowa. I feel like they're so underrated when it comes to Bauhaus-style watches... Most times people would think of Junghans and Nomos.

Yep. Solidly in the Bauhaus holy trinity! A friend introduced me to the brand, and Nomos, years ago - so Stowa has always been on my radar. And owning a piece from all three brands, I hold them all on about the same level, each for their own reasons. In the future I'll have to do a Bauhaus head to head.

@@KillingTimeWithNorman that's going to be a fantastic video. Will keep an eye out!

That's a great looking piece, and that packaging is definitely next level to say the least . Definitely Nomos vibes 😍

Yeah - it was a toss up between this and the Tangente. I like the alternating markers of the Nomos - but figured I'd later go for the Orion, so went w/ the more affordable Stowa. Glad I did - the dial color!

In fact it's the other way around. Nomos has Stowa vibes. Stowa has based this watch on their own models from 1937.

@@Xoan-Diaz This is true! Nomos is surprisingly young. Thanks for pointing that out!

I really want to add a German manual wind to my collection. Of course it would be between Laco, Stowa and Nomos. This Laco, with the small seconds and that gorgeous movement, as well as the heated blue hands, it looks absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Yeah! Oh! There are some great looking Laco Bauhaus watches. I actually haven't looked at those before - will have to check those out. Thank you!
